Visuals of Valve's new title Deadlock leaked

Information about Valve’s upcoming game, Deadlock has been leaked on the internet, and according to @gabefollower on X, the hero-shooter title was previously referred to as Neon Prime, Citadel. The title will be Valve’s take on a third-person hero-based shooter, similar to Smite, the third-person MOBA game.

The objectives in Deadlock will be similar to those of other MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) games, with players having to defend their towers. These towers are scattered across four lanes, each team needs to destroy their opponent's tower to progress through that lane. It is important to note that most MOBA titles have three lanes, so the additional lane makes this game stand out from the rest.

According to @gabefollower, during every match, players will be able to use various consumables and items that they can purchase. Each character will also have unique abilities that they can utilize during matches to gain an upper hand while fighting. Players will be able to fast-travel by using floating rails to swiftly move across the map.

Judging by the screenshot shared by @thexpaw (which is allegedly from a 4chan leak), the game will feature a steampunk vibe with magicians and weird creatures. The maps will boast various attributes of the modern steampunk European cities similar to Half-Life, Valve’s iconic first-person shooter franchise.
