Konnan recently stated that a former WWE Superstar and current AEW star had heat between them.

Don Callis manages a faction in AEW that includes Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Kyle Fletcher. Before joining AEW in 2020, Callis was Co-Executive Vice President of Impact Wrestling. He also worked in WWE between 1996 and 1998.

On the other hand, Brian Cage was booked as an unstoppable force. However, as time passed, he didn't get over the crowd and got lost in the shuffle. The Machine again found himself in the spotlight after turning heel on Swerve Strickland. Unfortunately, Brian lost to the current AEW World Champion on Dynamite.

The Machine was a massive star in Impact Wrestling and a world champion. He worked there when Callis was the authority figure, and apparently, the duo had issues with each other.

While speaking on his Keepin' It 100 podcast, WCW veteran Konnan disclosed that Brian was supposed to squash a talent match in Impact, but The Machine wrestled a proper match with him. This grew heat between the latter and Callis.

"Bro, he had heat with Callis in Impact. Because they told him to go squash somebody and he gave him like 50% of the match," he said. (03:25 - 03:34)

Konnan claims AEW star Brian Cage is unselfish

Brian Cage is a great athlete, and a better human being, and many of his peers applaud him for his helpful nature.

Speaking with Keeping It 100 Official, Konnan stated that The Machine is 'very unselfish' and shouldn't think twice about others when it's time to shine.

"He is very unselfish, yeah! That is a problem. There are guys like him [Brian Cage], The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega. There are a lot of them who suffered through the Indies, and they know what they went through, and they wanna be... I am like, 'Bro, you guys need to be more selfish when it's your turn; it's your turn to shine; it's not the other guy's turn, it's your turn!''' he said.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Brian Cage after losing to Swerve this week.
