For those bored of playing WWE 2K17, waiting for something new or just tired of committing carnage in the GTA V Universe and need something new, the GTAnarchy page on Facebook has just the remedy for your malady.
The Facebook page has come up with a mashup of the best of both worlds, WWE wrestlers in the world of limitless possibilities that is the GTA open universe. The video features WWE superstars Randy Orton, John Cena and Brock Lesnar letting themselves loose in Los Santos.
In case you didn’t know...
GTA V and WWE 2K17 are two favourite titles amongst gamers worldwide with both games allowing gamers a medium to vent out their darkest and most violent fantasies in a socially acceptable and humorous fashion.
Both games feature their own versions of an open universe and allow users a plethora of options, and customisations which allow them to shape the game in their own way. GTAnarchy has combined the best elements of both games and added WWE wrestlers to the GTA Universe.
The heart of the matter
GTAnarchy’s video starts with Brock Lesnar, John Cena and Randy Orton using a barbed wire wrapped wooden stick to go on a rampage on a group of people sitting and enjoying the sunshine outside a parked camper. Nobody is safe, not even the cops who eventually turn up at the spot.
The carnage then continues in different parts of the city, against women sitting by swimming pools, picnickers, and random folks on the street who also face the wrath of the WWE wrestlers.
There is also a moment where John Cena picks up a gun and unleashes mayhem on a few people in a seemingly peaceful neighbourhood.
What’s next?
This modification was made possible by applying user made patches to the GTA V system and using these patches to include WWE’s wrestlers in the GTA V game. Such patches can be downloaded online by anyone who wishes to play this insane combination of WWE in the GTA universe.
Author's Take
Unlikely as it sounds, the mindless violence of the GTA V and WWE titles can get a little monotonous at times. Such patches bring together the best of both worlds and add another entertaining dimension to the game and will attract more users to the game.
