Kilmarnock v Celtic - Cinch Scottish Premiership
Celtic and St. Mirren lock square off in the Premiership on Saturday

Celtic and St. Mirren bring their 2023-24 Scottish Premiership campaign to an end when they lock horns at Celtic Park on Saturday. Brendan Rodgers’ men head into the weekend with the thrill from clinching the league title still in the air and will look to close out the campaign on a high.

High-flying Celtic secured the Premiership crown on Wednesday when they stormed to a 5-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Rodgers’ side have now won their last six games across all competitions and are unbeaten in 10 back-to-back matches, claiming nine wins and one draw since March’s 2-0 defeat at Hearts.

This blistering run of results has also seen Celtic book their spot in the final of the Scottish Cup, where they will lock horns with arch-rivals Rangers on May 25.

St. Mirren, on the other hand, continue to struggle for results in the championship round as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Hearts the St. Mirren Park last time out.

Steve Robinson’s side have now failed to win seven of their last eight matches, losing five and claiming two draws since the first week in March.

Despite their late-season slump, St. Mirren have secured their place in the UEFA Europa Conference League playoff spot as they sit fifth in the league table, six points above sixth-placed Dundee.

Celtic vs St. Mirren Head-To-Head

Celtic have been imperious in the history of this fixture, having won 47 of the last 57 meetings between the two sides. Celtic are currently on a four-match winning streak against Robinson’s men and are unbeaten in their last eight encounters since January 2023.
