Manchester City forward Erling Haaland sent an X-rated message to teammate Jack Grealish during their Premier League title celebrations on Sunday (21 May).

The Cityzens became English champions for the third time in a row after beating Chelsea 1-0 at the Etihad, thanks to World Cup winner Julian Alvarez's first-half goal.

Following the encounter, Pep Guardiola's side lifted the trophy and were jubilant in their celebrations. An energetic and perhaps adrenaline-filled Haaland, who has now experienced domestic triumph in his debut season in England, crashed Grealish's interview on Sky Sports.

The Norwegian forward emphatically told the England international:

"I f***ing love you. You know that!"

Manchester City emerged victorious after a heated title race against Arsenal. The Gunners dominated the No.1 spot for most of the 2022-23 campaign. However, Mikel Arteta's side could not maintain their stellar form after suffering a string of losses that included defeats in both fixtures against Manchester City.

The Gunners lost the title after losing 1-0 to Nottingham Forest on Saturday (20 May), crowning the Cityzens as champions once again. This victory represents Guardiola's fifth Premier League title in his seven years in charge of Manchester City.

However, the Cityzens may not be done yet. Guardiola's men are currently on the hunt for an iconic treble, a feat only Manchester United have achieved in England (in 1999 under Sir Alex Ferguson).

City will face Manchester United in the FA Cup final on 3 June and Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final on 11 June.

"We have to admit it" - Pep Guardiola details what Manchester City must do to be 'considered something memorable'

While Manchester City have seen massive success in the English top tier in recent years, many have criticized the club for their lack of silverware in Europe. Guardiola believes his side need to win the Champions League this season in order to be remembered as one of the greatest teams in football.

The former Barcelona manager said (via Manchester Evening News):

"I know the feeling and it's true, we have to win in Europe to be considered something memorable. But always it's unfair, I don't have the feeling just in case we are not able to win it in terms of that [to be considered one of the best teams] because the Premier League makes sense too."

He added:

"Of course, as a club you get to another level, that's for sure but we have to admit it, we have to win in Europe and the Champions League to be considered one of the best teams like Roy Keane's United was or Liverpool."
