Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has attracted interest from Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United, is not for sale, according to the club's chief football officer Francesco Calvo.

Vlahovic has scored 23 goals in 63 appearances for the Old Lady and an impressive 13 goals in 21 outings for the Serbian national team. According to Metro, Chelsea are prepared to make a £70 million bid for the striker.

Since his move to Juventus in January 2022, Vlahovic has struggled to consistently display his finest form and is reportedly eager for a change of scenery.

Apart from the Blues, Manchester United are also interested in signing the 23-year-old striker. Manager Erik ten Hag is keen to reinforce his attacking options.

However, the ambitions of both clubs to add a new talisman to their ranks could be thwarted by the resolute stance of Juventus. Their chief football officer, Francesco Calvo, in conversation with DAZN, showed no signs of buckling under pressure, claiming that the striker will remain in Turin (via Metro):

"Rumours are not something we can control, but the transfer market hasn’t even opened yet. Dusan is not for sale. We are satisfied with the effort he puts in, although everyone in life can do better."

Calvo also dispelled any uncertainties surrounding Massimiliano Allegri's position at Juventus despite the club enduring a less-than-stellar season.

"There are no doubts, Massimiliano Allegri will be our coach next season. We’re building our future together with him. We’ve unconditional trust in Allegri."

Chelsea and Manchester United search for strikers as the summer transfer window looms

Chelsea are looking for a new number-nine after a disappointing season from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. While Romelu Lukaku is expected to return from his loan spell at Inter Milan, reports indicate that both parties are prepared to part ways.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have relied heavily on loanee Wout Weghorst to deliver the goals since Cristiano Ronaldo's mid-season departure. However, this has not worked too well, with the towering forward struggling in front of goal.

Interestingly, both clubs have also shown a keen interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. Whispers around Old Trafford also suggest that Erik ten Hag harbors dreams of bringing Tottenham's Harry Kane to the Theatre of Dreams.
