Manchester United are reportedly set to make a blockbuster offer for Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The Ukrainian is set to return to No. 2, behind Thibaut Courtois, despite his impressive performances this season.

Lunin, 25, has kept 12 clean sheets in 35 games across competitions this season, usurping the on-loan Kepa Arrizabalaga as the No. 1. The Ukrainian played a key role in Los Blancos' La Liga triumph and run to the UEFA Champions League final, where they play Borussia Dortmund next month.

However, with Courtois back from a near season-ending ACL injury, Lunin might not start against BvB. Moreover, he might also have to cede his spot in the first XI to Courtois next season, which hasn't impressed the Ukrainian.

Despite Lunin extending his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu till 2028, Todo Fichajes (via El Nacional) has reported interest from United, who have a mega offer for his services.

Regardless of who starts the Champions League final against BvB, the Manchester United target has had a great season. But whether he remains at the Bernabeu next season appears uncertain at this point.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have had contrasting seasons. While Los Blancos have won the Supercopa Espana and La Liga titles and could win the Champions League, too, United finished a lowly eighth in the league.

Erik ten Hag's side also crashed out of Europe early after finishing last in their Champions League group. However, they have a chance of ending the season with silverware, as they take on holders Manchester City in a repeat of last year's FA Cup final on Saturday (May 25).

Los Blancos, meanwhile, close out their La Liga campaign at home to Real Betis on the same day before taking on BvB in the Champions League final at the Wembley six days later.

Carlo Ancelotti's side are seeking a record-extending 15th title in the competition and their second La Liga-UEFA Champions League double in three years.
