Manchester United gifted another exceptional performance to their fans as they defeated Claude Puel's Leicester City with a narrow 1-0 scoreline. One could say that Manchester United played football at a pedestrian pace after watching the scoreline, many would also have recorded the giant strides they continue to take under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Marcus Rashford leading the front line with the likes of Alexis Sanchez down the left, Jesse Lingard on the right and Paul Pogba at the heart of the midfield alongside Nemanja Matic. On the other hand, Vardy started the match for the Foxes with Gray, James Maddison and the homegrown Harvey Barnes in the supporting role.

Manchester United started the game with major confidence. Rashford missed an easy chance from Luke Shaw's beautifully lofted delivery at the opening moment of the match. United's no.10 broke the deadlock at the 9th minute of the match through an inch-perfect pass from Pogba. Leicester City also tried to create some chances, but their efforts failed due to the lack of a killer's instinct.

Manchester United climbed up to the 5th position in the Premier League points table. They have garnered 48 points from 25 league matches. On the other hand, Leicester City hold their 11th position as they have bagged only 32 points from the same number of matches.

Moreover, United held on to win and of course, no 1-0 victory of theirs is complete without a couple of staggering, worldly saves from David de Gea. When their caretaker boss was recruited, the Red Devils were 11 points adrift of the Champions League spots. Now, they are only two behind fourth place.

Here are a few of the best tweets as Manchester United sealed another 3 points on away soil.
