Reigning ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex is paying a close attention to all the contenders in her weight class, as she is looking forward to the battle of Itsuki Hirata and Victoria Souza on June 7 at ONE 167 inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

In that same card, Stamp will be defending her ONE women's atomweight MMA world title against Denice Zamboanga in the main event.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post's YouTube channel recently, the undisputed atomweight queen was asked to give her thoughts on that crucial matchup between Hirata and Souza. He said:

"I think she can beat her [Victoria Souza]. I'm sure Hirata can win this one."

Both fighters have suffered losses in their previous fights, but Stamp still leans on the judo-based style of 'Android 18' to get the job done against 'Vick'.

Additionally, the Japanese is a more experienced fighter in the world's largest martial arts organization with five wins in the promotion, while the Brazilian has one so far.

Stamp, on the other hand, wants to extend her MMA winning streak to four with a win over Zamboanga and instill fear among other contenders in the division.

Stamp Fairtex is setting sights on possible reclamation of Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles

When Stamp defeated Ham Seo Hee in September 2023, at ONE Fight Night 14, she became the first athlete in ONE Championship to win world titles in three different sports.

This historical accomplishment has reignited the fire inside of her to reclaim both the ONE atomweight Muay Thai world title and the ONE atomweight kickboxing world title. These 26-pound golden belts are presently held by Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and Phetjeeja, respectively.

ONE 167 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America in U.S. primetime on June 7. The card will emanate from the Impact Arema in Bangkok, Thailand.
