Former WWE and UFC champion Brock Lesnar has revealed the sporting achievement that means more to him than winning the UFC heavyweight title.

Lesnar was already one of the biggest stars in WWE before he decided to put his pro-wrestling career on hold and pursue his dream of becoming an NFL athlete in 2004. He was even signed by the NFL team Minnesota Vikings and represented them in several pre-season games before being released by the team.

Brock Lesnar then went on to enter the MMA world and following a successful debut in 2007, he signed with the UFC. Lesnar made his UFC debut in 2008 against Frank Mir, however, he ended up losing the bout. That did not stop him and he went on to win the UFC heavyweight championship in his third fight with the company later in the same year.

It's safe to say that Brock Lesnar has achieved a lot in his life. Even though he has won the UFC and WWE championships, the NCAA college wrestling title that he won in 2000 is the one he cherishes the most.

While speaking about which of his achievements made him the proudest, Brock Lesnar had this to say in an interview with Daniel Cormier:

"I think I'm proud of them all but I think the one that I hold near and dear to my heart is my NCAA titles because, or title. My junior college title and my NCAA title because that tenure and that run to try to get to the top was so long and so agonizing."

Jon Jones is open to fighting Brock Lesnar in the UFC

Brock Lesnar hasn't fought in the UFC since 2016 and his MMA career is most certainly over. However, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones believes a fight against the former WWE champion would be massive.

In the build-up to his UFC 285 bout against Ciryl Gane, Jones sat down for an interview with Sporting News, wherein he was asked to name a fighter that he would love to fight in the octagon. 'Bones' replied:

"I think fighting Brock Lesnar would be really cool. Brock isn't the most technical guy, but he has a massive fanbase. He's a lot bigger than me and it would have been the really cool kind of David and Goliath situation. It would have been really cool for cross-sport promoting. I think we would have done great things for our families and our teams, financially that would have been massive."
