Dana White doesn’t plan on having UFC and Power Slap events on the same day again.
On March 11, UFC Las Vegas went down inside The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event would normally take place in the UFC APEX, but another event was being held several hours after Petr Yan vs. Merab Dvalishvili concluded, requiring a different setup.
The first season of Power Slap concluded with championship matches on Saturday. As a result, staff members and the media endured a long day of coverage between the two events. During the Power Slap post-event press conference, White had this to say about the situation:

“I would believe that my team would murder me if I do this again. There will be a coup over at the office and I will be overthrown. I can’t keep doing this to my people, no. It’s been a rough couple of months and yes, I will probably not do this again, but maybe I will, who knows?”

Dana White dismisses questions about Power Slap getting all of his attention
One of the complaints about Power Slap is how the UFC's social media accounts consistently post slap-fighting content. Now that the UFC has become a well-oiled machine, there have been questions about Dana White spending most of his time promoting his new business venture compared to the MMA promotion.
During the press conference for Power Slap and UFC Las Vegas, White shut down questions about him prioritizing the slap-fighting league:
“Do I even really need to answer that question? I mean, come on. Anybody that wants to talk sh*t can come up with anything. I say this all the time: people have no idea what I really do and don’t do, and they don’t know anything about this business.”
Throughout the first season of Power Slap, there has been no shortage of backlash regarding competitor pay and safety. With that said, the UFC president is happy with the results, leading to his announcement about seasons two and three. Regardless of what people say, Dana White doesn’t plan on giving up on his newest business venture anytime soon.
