"Get that bag", "No it's fake" - Fans react to Ryan Garcia asking if he should accept WWE contract offer 

Former WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia claimed to be offered a contract by the WWE.

Garcia is fresh off a major win against WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney after leading fans to question his mindset and motivation with his social media antics. In a recent post on X, Garcia questioned his fans whether he should take up an offer from the WWE and sign with them. He wrote:

"WWE WANTS ME TO SIGN SHOULD I"

Garcia drew significant attention for his pre-fight antics in which he feigned disinterest and discussed everything but the fight itself. The act may even have thrown Haney off his guard. The attention generated by such theatrics from Garcia might fit in perfectly at the WWE.

A small minority of fans backed him to make the move to pro wrestling and rake in a significant payout.

"Get that bag"

"Do it!! Thatd be fun to see bro"

Most other fans told him to back out of it citing that it was scripted and not meant for him or worthy of his fighting talent.

"No its fake"

"You are a fighter, not a clown."

"You're so close, don't do it.. Not now.."

Others suggested a move to the UFC instead.

"Go UFC instead Wrestling is all a show"

"UFC or stay in boxing. I’m not a huge fan of WWE. You’re too talented for WWE anyway"

Some fans went as far as to suggest what Garcia should get up to at the WWE including targeting the influencer turned WWE superstar Logan Paul.

"Yea and throw the script away and KO Logan Paul"

"Triple H already preparing the script for Ryan Garcia to win WrestleMania"

"It's lame enough already with Logan Paul on there"

Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili jostle to take on Ryan Garcia

UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley has his sights trained on Ryan Garcia. The two have teased a crossover fight for years but a matchup is yet to materialize.

O'Malley took to X to state that he would take on Garcia in a boxing fight after knocking out the No.1 ranked bantamweight contender, Merab Dvalishvili.

"After I KO Merab I’m boxing Ryan"

However, Dvalishvili differed in his response to O'Malley and said that the knockout finish would come from him, therefore, he will take on Garcia next.

"The KO will be coming from me so I guess I will be boxing Ryan next ??!!"
