Michael Bisping holds Conor McGregor responsible for Raul Rosas Jr. talking "ridiculously big game"

Michael Bisping believes Conor McGregor is responsible for young fighters talking a big game before racking up the accolades to match their talk. Rosas Jr., the youngest fighter on the UFC roster, seized the opportunity to fight on a massive pay-per-view card with a dominant first-round submission win over Jay Perrin.

The 18-year-old Rosas Jr. next wants a fight with the bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, presumably to capitalize on the momentum. Confident that he can dethrone the 135-pound champion, 'El Nino Problema' expressed hope that the UFC would fast-track his career to a title shot.

But former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is not a fan of this approach from the youngster. He went as far as to claim that Conor McGregor is to be blamed for it.

McGregor, nicknamed 'The Notorious', began calling out then-champion Jose Aldo soon after he made his UFC debut, and collected a few impressive victories.

Speaking about how McGregor's rise to the top and brash personality has influenced the likes of Raul Rosas Jr. in a recent episode of the Believe You Me podcast, Bisping stated:

"It's this new trend, and Conor McGregor is responsible for it, because Conor came in and he was uber successful....became the double champ and in his rise he was unstoppable. He came in, he talked a ridiculously big game, and he backed it up every single second of the way."

Bisping added:

"Now it seems that everybody does that. Bro, you're [Rosas Jr.] eighteen. Paddy is doing the same thing as well. These youngsters or these new additions coming and talking all this mad c**p.... be quitely confident. But don't after having one fight against Jay Perrin be calling out the champion of the world and making it sound like it's going to be easy work."

Conor McGregor praised Raul Rosas Jr. for making history as the youngest UFC winner on his debut on Saturday.

This past Saturday night at UFC 282, at the tender age of 18 years and 63 days, Rosas made history by becoming the UFC's youngest-ever competitor when he took on Jay Perrin.
