Mike Tyson takes cannabis business to Europe, opens branded coffee shop in Amsterdam

Jake Paul v Tommy Fury
Mike Tyson has decided to expand his business.

Mike Tyson's cannabis business has been expanded to Europe.

'Iron Mike' is done these days as a professional boxer. With the exception of a possible exhibition matchup similar to his 2020 outing with Roy Jones Jr., fans will likely never see Tyson in the ring again. Beyond just his age, the former champion doesn't seem interested.

It's hard to blame him, as he's found success outside the boxing ring. Tyson has calmed his demeanor over the last decade, something he attributes to his cannabis use. The former heavyweight champion is a believer in its benefits, which is why he owns his own company.

In 2015, Mike Tyson founded his own cannabis company, and he quickly found success. The former champion has expanded into unique strains and extracts and is available all across the United States. Last year, the company even took its next steps towards international expansion by opening up shop in Canada.

The brand is currently headed to Europe. Earlier today, the company had a press release detailing its plans to open a branded coffee shop in Amsterdam. The shop will sell Tyson's merchandise, as well as cannabis and other fun items.

The store will be the first under Tyson's 2.0 branding in Europe, and will likely be far from last.

Mike Tyson cannabis business: 'Iron Mike' discusses expansion

Mike Tyson couldn't be happier to have his own cannabis store in Amsterdam.

The heavyweight champion has been in the cannabis business for nearly a decade now but has seen a lot of success recently. While the vast majority of Americans have legalized the drug in one form or another, Tyson has reaped the benefits.

It's hard to get mad at the heavyweight legend for taking advantage of an opportunity. Tyson even had callbacks to his own career through his product line. Last year, he, alongside Evander Holyfield, announced 'Holy Bites', cannabis gummies in the shape of an ear.

The product announcement quickly went viral, which likely aided Mike Tyson's plans for expansion. First Canada, now Amsterdam, the heavyweight legend discussed opening a new store in a press release. He stated:

"It is a dream come true to open our first coffeeshop in Amsterdam. The Coffeeshop TYSON 2.0 will immerse fans in a full on experience where they can enjoy my favorite TYSON 2.0 products the way I do. I've tried and tested all of them, and I can't wait to share some of my most beloved and undefeated goods with Europe."
