In 13 seasons, Romo led the Cowboys into the playoffs just four times. His record in those games? An underwhelming 2-4, which included back-to-back one-and-dones in 2006 and 2007.

In 2009, he returned to the playoffs and won his first game before losing the second. Then came the fate he suffered in 2014 as the "Dez Bryant Caught It" fiasco in Green Bay still has fans screaming.

The quarterback defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 and beat the Detroit Lions in 2014, and they remain the quarterback's only victories in the postseason.

He has 1,316 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and two interceptions in his playoff career along with a 61.6 completion percentage.

But the 42-year-old has still had a decent NFL career, especially given he went undrafted.

He currently holds the Dallas franchise record for passing yards with 34,183. He also holds the record for passing touchdowns with 248 (Aikman second with 166) and ranks third all-time in wins with 92, just two behind Aikman.

Despite that, the quarterback out of Eastern Illinois isn't viewed in glowing terms simply because of his playoff record and the fact that he only made it to the postseason four times in 13 seasons.

With a franchise steeped in history and Super Bowl wins in the '90s, the success with the now 42-year-old under center was not there.
