5 feuds that must happen after the Shield's split

The Shield broke up finally after all those buzz around the angle which was there for more than a year. And when they did, it delivered a big surprise as it was Seth Rollins who turned heel instead of the expected Dean Ambrose.Now that the Shield is split up, what the company has now are three superstars with some great potential. All three members of the Shield could flourish as singles competitor and there are a lot of possible storylines as well.The WWE needs to be carefully while booking these three. So here is a look at five storylines that should happen after the Shields split.

#5 Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar

Now it would be easy to have Roman Reigns have a feud with Brock Lesnar and call it the battle of Superman and the Beast. However, on a storyline point of view it would just be a match between two powerhouses which would sell out arena.

But take a moment to think about the situation with Dean Ambrose. He is a maniac willing to go the limits and has no fear. Along with that he has the ability to pull off some captivating promos as well.

On the opposite corner it will be Brock Lesnar, who preys upon the fear of his opponent and by his side will be Paul Heyman, one of the best talkers in the business. The angle is sure to be a successful one if pulled of correctly and could act as a buffer feud for Lesnar before his title picture entry.

#4 Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

After Rollins decided to turn against Reigns and Ambrose, the two decided to pull off promos that were emotionally charged to the core.

However, it was Ambrose who carried on with it while the company had other plans for Reigns. Reigns was pushed into the title scene which took him away from getting revenge against Rollins. Rollins is going to lock horns with Ambrose now and after that the company should give Reings his match.

There will be a lot of anger that Reigns will have to unload and since Rollins is having a lot of heel momentum, the feud will further benefit both the superstars. The winner of the feud will show that who the company backs more which makes it clear for the fans as well.

#3 Seth Rollins vs. Triple H

It might be too early for this one, but it is a feud that should happen. Hunter wasn’t able to defeat the Shield with his Evolution and had to buy Rollins to make it happen.

From the history of WWE we all know very well that such turns doesn’t have a happy ending for Hunter. Most of his students grew up, got experience and simply stood up against him and Rollins is not going to be any different.

A feud with Hunter could be the one which turns him face again and it’s an angle that could do the waiting. The company need not rush with this one as they have plenty of time to sort it out.

#2 Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt

The WWE initially had the plans of pitting Dean Ambrose against Mick Foley because Foley had that personality which could spark up a great feud with Ambrose. Both are willing to go to the extreme to destroy their opponent and are excellent microphone workers.

However, Mick Foley has hanged his boots up for the good and though he is irreplaceable, one superstar who has glimpses of Foley is Bray Wyatt.

The eater of the worlds has been priceless on the microphone till now and Ambrose is the right match for him. In the ring as well the two gave crazy physical matches whenever they got the time to meaning that an individual feud will be entertaining.

#1 Roman Reigns vs. John Cena

It will not get any bigger than this for Roman Reigns and a feud with Cena will complete the transition of Reigns from future star to star.

From the looks of it, the company is bringing up Reigns as a mirror image of Cena and they even let Reigns have some friction with the Cenation leader at SmackDown. Most of the fans and many in the company see Reigns as a replacement for Cena.

This feud could easily turn out to be a torch passing one while the fans are certainly going to enjoy the in ring action as well. The only concern would be how Reigns works with a microphone. But with that covered, the feud is bound to be a blockbuster one.
