5 Possible Changes to the WWE Feuds after Daniel Bryan's return

A majority of the WWE fans out there expected probably the worst news of this decade when they heard that Daniel Bryan was going to make a big announcement at this week’s RAW.To WWE’s credit, they did build up a lot of tension from the situation but once things unfolded, it turned out to be a late Christmas present for all the WWE fans out there. Bryan announced that he would be back in the squared circle for Royal Rumble, a move that changes the WWE landscape immediately. This is exactly the kind of boost that Vince McMahon wanted ahead of the road to WrestleMania and with Bryan in the mix, the entire plan is surely going to get shuffled. A lot of feuds might be dropped or born after Bryan’s return and here is a rundown on the same.

#5 Viper meets the Eater of the worlds

Randy Orton’s return was something that the WWE has still kept for the future. In a show that was studded with surprises, the Viper’s return was highly expected but it never came by.

After what Rollins did to him, the fans would expect Orton to go behind Rollins and the Authority but if the Authority hires Bray Wyatt to take care of the viper, it would give everyone a match that is more exciting than the Rollins – Orton one.

Bray being Orton’s first opponent after his face turn is almost sure shot success considering the amount of in ring psychology that these two bring in between the ropes. And as far as Rollins is concerned, he could always go and face John Cena, which is our next possible feud.

#4 Architect of the Cenation

Cena made a fool of himself at this week’s Raw when he brought back the Authority just after one month of taking them out of power. It was probably one of the worst decisions that the company made in an otherwise solid show but it does open up many possibilities.

One among that would be a match between Cena and Rollins. Rollins has managed to build himself as the top heel in the roster and going up against Cena would further stamp that place.

WWE would have no trouble sparking this feud up after what happened on RAW and since we wouldn’t like to see another Triple H vs. John Cena match, Rollins is the only possible name against whom Cena can seek revenge.

#3 Reigns locks horn with the Authority

Before Bryan was in the picture, no one would’ve voted against Roman Reigns as the winner of Royal Rumble. However, since the flying goat returned, Reigns needs to be invested elsewhere.

John Cena would be an obvious choice to many considering that he is the best thing after the WWE championship, but feeding Reigns to the Cenation leader so early in his career might spell disaster just like it did with Bray Wyatt.

This leaves the company with the next best option which is Triple H. A match between Hunter and Reigns has been teased for ages now but was put on hold due to various reasons. This finally happening at Mania would be a big draw and will make Reigns look strong at the same time.

#2 The dream match

There was always a doubt about the dream match between Sting and Undertaker due to the Phenom’s fitness. The company seems to have sorted that by now and the next question is about his opponent.

Sting was an obvious name that made it to all the debates about the topics but the common argument against him was his friction with Triple H. Hunter was the favorite to face Sting at Mania thanks to Taker’s absence but if the company lets Hunter face Reigns, this sets the stage for our dream match.

A match between two 50+ year old guys at WrestleMania might not turn out to be a Wrestling classic, but at the end of the day it is surely going to draw millions of fans into the arena and boost the buy rates.

#1 The beast vs. The goat

There wouldn’t have been any better match than this to headline this year’s WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar cleaned out everyone that crossed his path last year while Daniel Bryan got injured just after his fairy tale run was starting to reward.

The injury was nothing less than career threatening for the flying goat and this makes the potential match between him and Lesnar more exciting.

Bryan would be coming into the match wounded while Lesnar has made a name for himself by destroying all his opponents. It’s the ultimate David vs. Goliath encounter that the fans would love to see and with these two men in between the ropes, the action wouldn’t disappoint as well.
