WWE Fast Lane 2015 : 5 things that could ruin the Pay-Per-View

Fast Lane is just a handful of weeks away and WWE is starting to feel the heat. WWE Universe has no idea on what to expect from the inaugural edition and after what went down at the Royal Rumble, every booking decision will be scrutinized. The chances of the fans going unhappy after Fast Lane are sky high thanks to the half-baked match card but that is not what the company would want.WWE cannot afford to make another wrong step before WrestleMania and they should be hell bound on avoiding certain booking decisions. So here is a look at those things which could ruin the inaugural Fast Lane pay-per-view.

#5 Another Big Show turn

Let’s start off with the obvious one here. Big Show has had more turns in his WWE career than the entire American roads. The latest one came in at SmackDown where he knocked out his partner Kane in between the match against Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns.

It was not a full-fledged turn to be frank as Kane was irritating Show throughout the match. There is still some space for the company to clean up what they did but if they go forward to let Show turn completely, it will be a disaster.

Instead they should play out the tension between Kane and Show to let Kane turn. The big red monster is in desperate need of a character change and turning babyface will do wonders.

#4 Randy Orton goes missing, again

One of the most anticipated returns at Fast Lane is that of Randy Orton. The Viper needs to be back in the roster as soon as possible, if Vince McMahon wants to build him up for a match at WrestleMania.

But what if Orton doesn’t return? Some might say it’s okay if the company delays his return to the Raw that follows but think about it. Seth Rollins will have a say in the match between Reigns and Bryan and it might even turn out to be a Triple Threat.

And WWE will want to take away Rollins safely from the same without burying him. They cannot do this until they bring back Orton. The apex predator should return and kick start his feud with Seth Rollins at Fast Lane and if he doesn’t, WWE will be in neck deep trouble.

#3 Rusev gets buried by Superman

Rusev career will no longer be same after he wraps up the feud with John Cena. This angle has the potential to make or break the Bulgarian Brute and things will be clear once Fast Lane arrives.

The feud will probably run all the way to WrestleMania and for that, the company needs to build Rusev as a credible opponent for the Cenation leader. So far, the buildup pointed towards their Fast Lane match but once the starting bell rings, it should build the next step.

For that, Rusev needs to be protected at the pay-per-view. A clean win for Cena will bury Rusev with no mercy and that is not what the WWE wants while preparing him for his first WrestleMania showdown.

#2 Sting no-shows

There might not be a lot of matches to look forward when it comes to Fast Lane but what the fans really want to see is the showdown between Sting and Triple H. Hunter called out the Stinger last week on Raw and made sure that wed see him at the pay-per-view.

However, there is a slight chance of the company not letting the Icon show up. In a cheap attempt to let the anticipation build, the company has done similar mistakes in the past. But doing it this time around would backfire.

As mentioned earlier, the only match worth looking forward to is between Reigns and Bryan and if the booking team doesnt have backups like this in their undercard, it is going to be a disaster.

#1 Daniel Bryan getting a clean win

A majority of the WWE fans will be rooting for Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane. The flying goat will have a chance to headline WrestleMania if he defeats Roman Reigns but that will not be a ‘best for business’ move by the company.

Bryan going on to face Lesnar will devalue the Royal Rumble and halt whatever the company was doing with Reigns. Apart from this, Bryan will be built up as another version of Super Cena.

He defeated three decorated names in one night last year and will be doing a bigger triumph by beating Lesnar. Reigns on the other hand would be buried to the deepest corners so what the company needs to avoid is Bryan getting a clean win.
