WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 9 February, 2015

WWE moved another step towards replicating their last year’s road to WrestleMania when they made a match between Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns at Fast Lane. Despite being the winner of Royal Rumble, Reigns now has to go through Bryan to get his title shot at Lesnar, which in turn completely devalues the whole concept of Royal Rumble.Though Triple H pointed out Rock’s interference as the reason for booking this match, we all know that the pressure from WWE Universe is the real motive. Elsewhere, there are a lot of other storylines being brewed by the company ahead of Fast Lane. All those will take another step forward with this week’s Monday night Raw and here is a look at the possible things that WWE would serve.

#5 Payback for Paige

The feud between Paige and the Bellas were taken to a whole new level last week. Bellas manage to humiliate the Brit once again in front of a live audience and Paige will be eager than ever to get the scores straight.

Bellas have built themselves as Bullies who take opportunities for granted and this makes the fans easier to hate them as heels.

There are no signs of AJ Lee returning any time soon and Paige might have to carry the angle on her shoulders. She has the ability to do that but only if WWE lets her steal the show this week on Raw. Paige needs to get one back at the Bellas at the earliest so that she wouldn’t look weak heading to Fast Lane.

#4 Ambroses gold rush

Ambrose announced his intentions to go after the Intercontinental championship at last week’s Raw. It is nowhere near the expectations that we had for Ambrose heading to WrestleMania but this feud promises to be a cracker.

First of all, both Ambrose and Barrett are tough superstars who could win over the crowd by the microphone work. The in ring action on the other hand also excels as these could deliver a brawl fest.

There are a lot of innovative ideas that WWE could try with these unpredictable superstars and the first chapter of the story will be there to be seen at this week’s Raw.

#3 Explosion of the tag teams

WWE is current working on two possible tag team splits. The first one sees Goldust and Stardust as the protagonist while Miz and Mizdow consists the second.

Stardust is not happy with the way Goldust is performing and walked out on his brother last week. Goldust is currently has plans of retirement at the moment which makes a lot of sense if Cody turns into a full-fledged heel in the coming weeks.

As far as the Mizdow angle is concerned, Miz is growing more jealous of his stunt double as each day passes by. A clash between the two is imminent but before that WWE should hint at the possible new character that Mizdow will pick up.

#2 Brays cryptic messages

After a great performance in the Royal Rumble match, Bray Wyatt has been limited to giving some cryptic promos. The WWE Universe has no idea on who he is aiming the promos at but if we go by the rumor mills, it should be Undertaker.

However, that reveal is yet to be done by the company so practically Bray is shooting his bullets into the sky with nothing to hit. Everything Bray said throughout the last few weeks have been effective and he once again proved that he is one of the best talkers in current roster.

Taker making an appearance on this week’s Raw might be a long shot, but WWE should do something so that the fans don’t get bored of the angle before it gets started.

#1 Wrath of Seth Rollins

The fans witnessed a great usage of Seth Rollins last week when he was put into the Royal Rumble chaos. Rollins faced off against Daniel Bryan to decide who will face Reigns at Fast Lane and though he lost out, Rollins made an impact.

He is hell bound in making both Reigns and Bryan look bad before their showdown and taking out Bryan at SmackDown was just the start of things.

Rollins will be looking to get his name back into the championship mix at all cost and this means we will get to see some interesting matches between the trio. Also, there is a possibility of Randy Orton making his return anytime so watch out for Rollins this week.
