WWE Money in the Bank : 5 Subplots to watch out for in the Ladder matches

The WWE will be bringing two high profile ladder matches on Sunday with no less than fifteen talented superstars involved in the chaos.Though all ladder matches highlights the item which hangs from the top, there are always subplots that add more layers to these matches. And this year also the company has given special care to mould out some interesting subplots that is sure to make the match more exciting. When all the superstars get in the ring, their sole aim would be to climb that ladder and get the item, but here is a look at the other aspects of these matches that surely has enough fire power to steal the limelight from the winning moment.

#5 Bad News Barretts injury

Bad News Barrett was getting a great push after WrestleMania and was tagged as one of the dark horses to walk out of Money in the Bank with the briefcase.

However, all that is currently up in the air after he picked up an injury in the SmackDown tapings. Now if Barrett wasn’t injured, it would’ve been his feud with Dolph Ziggler that would’ve found a place in the list. But since Barrett is not sure for the match it opens up some great possibilities.

The company could easily surprise the fans by having a returning superstar in the match or even had a highly rated midcarder in the match that could go all the way and win it. The rumors of Chris Jericho returning are still strong and with WWE we never know.

#4 Bray Wyatts future

The Bray Wyatt Character has been simply overshadowed ever since he was introduced into the WWE title scene. At the same time Erick Rowan and Luke Harper are shown as strong contenders for the tag titles and even have a new entrance theme.

This might mean that the association between the trio might be coming to an end soon. Bray Wyatt is yet to get any direction after his angle with John Cena and the ladder match is the only hope as far as the fans are concerned.

There are superstars with which Bray could spark a feud in the ladder match or he could just go against his teammates. Bray turning face and going against the Authority is the most mouthwatering prospect that has to happen at one stage or the other.

#3 Roman Reigns and John Cena as Authority rebels

The people who stood up against the Authority has always been supported by the fans and Roman Reigns has been reaping the benefits of this for some time.

Back in the night after Payback, WWE also gave John Cena the same spot teasing him being the substitute after Daniel Bryan got injured. So at the moment both Roman Reigns and John Cena could be the least favorites according to the authority.

The Authority might be doing anything in their power to make sure that these two doesn’t win the title and this includes the possibility of Triple H coming out an interfering in the middle of the match.

The only question that remains would be who from the two will be stuck with the authority for the long term while the other will be seeking a new feud.

#2 Kane being the Authoritys enforcer

Kane was the introduced into the WWE title ladder match as the last minute addition. He soon proved to be Authority’s puppet that was in the match only to make sure that Randy Orton wins the match.

However, knowing Kane, the plans might simply backfire on the Authority. Kane is one of the most unpredictable characters in the WWE roster right now and if Randy Orton decides to go beyond a limit, he will be put back in place by Kane.

At this stage of his career, Kane turning against the Authority provides a good angle and one that could even give him a deserved break from television that he was supposed to get if Daniel Bryan wasn’t injured.

He might also be the one helping Orton get the title, either way Kane will be making headlines at one stage or other.

#1 Dean Ambrose seeking revenge

It is arguably the hottest angle that is running in the WWE at the moment and the way in which Dean Ambrose has unleashed his Jon Moxley character has made the angle unpredictable.

Ambrose threatened his way into the Money in the Bank match and is there only to make sure that he gets his hands on Seth Rollins. Rollins on the other hand has one eye set on the briefcase and the other on Dean Ambrose to make sure that his former partner doesn’t ruin the party.

With the company filling the traditional ladder match with midcard names, these two have been projected as the big names from the pack as well. WWE looks set to push the angle all the way to SummerSlam and the ladder match is sure to play a big part in that.
