Hierarchy, also known as Hairaki is an upcoming South Korean high school romance, mystery, and coming-of-age drama scheduled for release in June 2024. The series features rising actors, including Roh Jeong-eui, Lee Chae-min, Kim Jae-won, Ji Hye-won, Lee Won-jung, and others.

Hierarchy will be helmed by director Bae Hyeon-jin, known for hit series, including Big Mouth and Alchemy of Souls season 2: Light and Shadow.

It will be penned by screenwriter Choo Hye-min, popular for dramas such as About Time. Studio Dragon is the production company behind the coming-of-age television series.


Hierarchy will be available to stream on Netflix in June 2024

Release date

The upcoming high-school teen romance drama Hierarchy will be released on June 7, 2024. The series will be available to stream on the American OTT platform, Netflix globally, and features seven episodes.


Plot

Hierarchy set in the backdrop of Jooshin High School boasts itself as the premium educational institution in South Korea and claims to provide quality-based teachings to the enrolled students.

The top 0.01% of the powerful students are admitted to the institution and are responsible for controlling the law and order. Only the students who are selected during their birth are allowed to be admitted to the prestigious school.

However, with the transfer of a mysterious student, the supreme authority of the students at the Jooshin High School feels threatened.


Cast and Characters

The upcoming high school and romance drama Hierarchy features a star-studded cast, including Roh Jeong-eui, Lee Chae-min, Kim Jae-won, Ji Hye-won, Lee Won-jung, Kim Tae-jeong, and others.

They are set to chronicle the characters of Jung Jae-i, Kang-ha, Kim Ri-an, Yoon He-ra, Lee Woo-jin, and Choi Yun-seok, respectively.

Roh Jeong-eui as Jung Jae-i

Roh Jeong-eui is set to chronicle the character of the eldest daughter of the Jaeyul Group, named Jung Jae-i. She was selected at the time of birth to be admitted to the prestigious Jooshin High School and referred to as the Queen of the prestigious institution. Interestingly, Jaeyul Group is the enemy of Jooshin Group in the market.

The 22-year-old actress Roh Jeong-eui has appeared in multiple dramas, including Angel Eyes, Pinocchio, Kill It, The Great Show, 18 Again, Our Beloved Summer, and others. She was reportedly to appear in the upcoming web series The Witch.


Lee Chae-min as Kang Ha

Lee Chae-min will take on the role of a mysterious transfer student, Kang Ha, who arrives at the doorstep of Jooshin High School and hides something behind his mischievous yet cunning smile. He cracks the authority of the 0.01% of students, who are known for ruling the prestigious school.

The actor rose to international fandom and stardom after appearing in the hit Netflix series Crash Course in Romance. He is known for other dramas, such as High Class, Love All Play, and others.


Meanwhile, Kim Jae-won and Ji Hye-won will chronicle the characters of Kim Ri-an and Yoon He-ra, respectively. Kim Ri-an is the successor of the Jooshin group and ranks at the No.1 position at the educational institution. Yoon He-ra is an insecure individual and daughter of the ever-growing Korean trading company, International Yoon.

Kim Tae-jeong will breathe life into the character of rebellious and top fighter student Choi Yun-seok in the upcoming series Hierarchy. He is popular in the institution due to his troublemaker personality and as the son of the Army Chief of Staff.

Lee Won-jung will take on the role of the second son of the family known for his rich political background, Lee Woo-jin. Despite his troubled family background, he appears to embody kindness and has handsome looks.
