WrestleMania 35 is going to take place next week at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey. The match card is loaded with fourteen matches and more are expected to be added as we head to the go-home shows this week.

WrestleMania season has been quite interesting, as we have witnessed the massive returns of stars like Roman Reigns and Batista and notable debuts from the likes of Aleister Black and Ricochet. But the returns and debuts that happen after the Show of Shows are even more interesting.

In the past, there have been many incredible returns and debuts after WrestleMania, such as Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Drew McIntyre. The trend isn't expected to change this year.

So here are ten debuts and returns that could happen after WrestleMania 35...

#10. Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler is set to defend her NXT Women's Title in a Fatal 4-Way match against lo Shirai, Bianca Belair and Kairi Sane at NXT Takeover: New York.

Baszler should lose the title as she has been the champion for a very long time. Her performance has quietly improved in many NXT Takeovers and now the time is right for her to move up to the main roster.

She can debut on Raw or SmackDown after WrestleMania 35, as it will be the best option for her moving forward. Also, we could get a new addition to the women's division.

#9. Trish Stratus and Lita

Trish Stratus and Lita were rumored to compete at WrestleMania 35 against the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley.

But the plans were scrapped and now the champs will defend the titles in a Fatal 4-Way match. This doesn't rule out a possible return of Stratus and Lita.

WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia next month and it will be another big show for the company. They might be saving the mega match for the Saudi show by the looks of it.

#8. Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle will be facing Velveteen Dream for the NXT North American Title at NXT Takeover: New York and It's highly possible that Riddle wins his first WWE title at the event.

But WWE can instead bring him to the main roster. He has already developed a lot of praise in NXT for his matches and the gimmick. Thus, he doesn't need to stay in NXT for a long time.

He has wished to have matches with big name Superstars such as Brock Lesnar and John Cena and it may finally be the time for those dream matches when he debuts on Raw or SmackDown after WrestleMania 35.

#7. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn has been rumored to return for quite some time now. However, the show of shows is set to take place next week and Zayn has yet not returned.

WWE might save his comeback for after WrestleMania 35, as the match card already seems loaded. Returning after the big event would be a fresh start for Zayn.

Although it's possible he could participate in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal, that shouldn't happen as it would be very underwhelming, to say the least.

#6. Pete Dunne

Pete Dunne will defend his WWE United Kingdom Title against Walter at NXT Takeover: New York and it seems he may finally lose the strap.

Dunne has been WWE UK Champion for as long as we can remember and now he needs to move up to the main roster to have big matches with main roster superstars.

Although he has made appearances on Raw and Royal Rumble before, he has never been called up permanently on the main roster and that should change after WrestleMania 35.

#5. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt has been rumored to return for a long time but WWE has no idea what storyline they should insert him in upon his return.

There was a thought that he would join WWE Champion Daniel Bryan and Rowan in reuniting The Wyatt Family and later began a feud with Bryan for the title.

But WWE has been planning to change Wyatt's gimmick after a prolonged struggle. It's possible that he returns with his new gimmick on Raw or SmackDown after WrestleMania 35.

#4. The Undisputed Era

The leader of The Undisputed Era, Adam Cole is set to face Johnny Gargano for the vacant NXT Title at NXT Takeover: New York. The rest of the members are not involved in the event.

Now, The Undisputed Era has been in NXT for a long time and it's high time that they move up to the main roster and have tantalizing feuds with other top factions in WWE.

Johnny Gargano is rumored to stay in NXT for another year which means Cole will lose his title match. This should finally send the stable to the main roster on Raw or SmackDown.

#3. The Undertaker

Rumors have surfaced that The Undertaker would not be appearing at WrestleMania 35. However, he is expected to be wrestling at WWE's Saudi Arabia show in May.

This would be a big shock to every WWE fan, as it has been rumored that Undertaker would not be wrestling but would be appearing in a non-wrestling capacity.

He will, however, be returning next month in Saudi Arabia, which would also be a blessing in disguise for the fans who love The Deadman.

#2. Velveteen Dream

Velveteen Dream will defend his NXT North American Title against Matt Riddle at NXT Takeover: New York. Dream should lose the title in order to facilitate his debut on the main roster.

Although the outcome of this match could go anywhere as even Riddle could also be in line for a debut, Dream should get this opportunity since the fans have been clamoring for it.

There are a lot of dream matchups that fans have been waiting to see when it comes to Dream and that is exactly why he should be called up to Raw or SmackDown after WrestleMania 35.

#1. Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels returned eleven years after retiring from in-ring competition. He teamed up with Triple H to defeat The Undertaker and Kane at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

He was rumored to face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 35 but the plans were scrapped following Triple H's injury during their tag team match.

WWE will be returning once again to Saudi Arabia, so it's possible Michaels gets back in the ring one more time to face the likes of AJ Styles or Daniel Bryan in a dream showdown.
