Last week, WWE Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live dished out plenty of great surprises. The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, and The Animal, Batista, made their returns to the red brand while The Prizefighter, Kevin Owens made a surprise return to the blue brand.

The return of these superstars provided a much-needed boost on the road to WrestleMania.

Tonight, Monday Night Raw will carry on the great momentum it garnered last week, and SmackDown Live will follow in the same footsteps.

Since Fastlane is the last stop on the road to the Grandest Stage of Them All, WWE could be planning some big things make the show feel more interesting.

Here are the 3 biggest things the WWE could be planning for the go-home shows.

#3: Lars Sullivan joins The Shield

The Shield could use a third member if Ambrose declines!
The Shield could use a third member if Ambrose declines!

It's been a couple of months since Lars Sullivan was last supposed to make his in-ring debut on the main roster. But due to some wretched events, his debut's has been put on hold.

It's been rumoured that the management wasn't happy with all the tweets that surfaced online, but Triple H shot everything down and said he was in a good position.

For the time Sullivan spent in the WWE's developmental territory, he found great success but was not able to get his hands on the top prize, the NXT Championship.

Two weeks ago, the elite four of WWE NXT made their debut on the main roster. The list includes the current NXT Champion Tomasso Ciampa, the former NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano, Ricochet and Aleister Black.

Every single one of them won their respective matches and displayed good in-ring abilities. The only person left now is Lars Sullivan.

Sullivan is the monster that The Shield could use if Ambrose turns down a reunion, and he will be a great addition to the match against Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Elias.

#2: Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan end SmackDown with a brawl

Will we see a brawl between the two?

Of all the surprises WWE dished out last week, one of such surprises was the return of The Prizefighter, Kevin Owens.

Vince McMahon replaced Kofi Kingston with the returning Kevin Owens to the WWE Championship match at Fastlane.

While the decision was inconsequential, it made the fans happy and sad at the same time. While the return of Kevin Owens was a huge deal, the removal of Kofi Kingston from the WWE title picture is inapprewsciable.

WWE has yet to make it clear that why Kingston was removed from the title picture, but it's no secret that Owens is clearly a bigger name.

It looks like Kevin Owens is finally going the babyface route, and it will be interesting to see how it works out for him. The first step in doing that would be Daniel Bryan riling him up in this week's SmackDown, and closing the show with an all-out brawl between the two will add the intrigue to the match.

After all, the feud is for WWE's most prestigious Championship, and moments like these are what catch the interest of the general audience.

#1 Randy Orton hits Styles with an RKO to start the feud

Keep an eye out for The Viper!
Keep an eye out for The Viper!

For a couple of months, the WWE Universe was wondering if the match between Randy Orton and AJ Styles will take place.

The match looks to be finally in the mix. The Viper interrupted Styles last week on SmackDown Live when he was being interviewed backstage.

After Styles mentioned that he’s going to fight to stake his claim on the house that he built, Orton came in and responded, “The house that AJ Styles, what?”

Both Orton and Styles stayed away from the title picture for a couple of months now and having both superstars feud with one another on the road to WrestleMania is the best viable option.

Speaking of their last encounter, The Viper defeated Styles back in 2017, and he was the one to eliminate Styles in the Chamber match.

If WWE is planning this match for the Fastlane PPV, Orton hitting Styles with an RKO-outta- nowhere this week could provide a good cliffhanger. After all, it only takes one RKO to get to Viperville.
