The buildup to the annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view has hit fever pitch on Raw as the main event match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman surrounding the Universal Championship is now not set to take place as Finn Balor stepped into Strowman's shoes after Vince McMahon took The Monster Among Men out of the match when he lost his temper with Baron Corbin backstage.

This time of the year all eyes are on the WWE product since the build to WrestleMania is set to begin and since there is added pressure on all the stars, there is also an increased number of botches and mistakes throughout their flagship show.

Once again there were a number of botches this week that were more noticeable than others and the following list looks at just three of them.

#3 Sarah Logan has issues in the tag match

Sarah Logan teamed with Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott as Nikki Cross made her Monday Night Raw debut alongside Bayley and Natalya. It was the perfect setting for Cross to make her debut but since all eyes were on the former NXT star, there were a few slip-ups from the Viking princess throughout the match.

It was mainly when Logan was fighting Natalya that she had a number of problems since she was unable to jump high enough on the wheelbarrow slam before she then bumped a dropkick before Natalya even delivered it.

Nikki Cross was able to pick up the win alongside her new team which took much of the pressure off Sarah Logan, but this is the most she has ever stood out in a match, for all the wrong reasons.

#2 Bobby Lashley's bumping skills

Bobby Lashley won the Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw when he used Lio Rush to his advantage to pick up the win over both Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. This is Lashley's first Championship since he returned to WWE back in April 2018 and his first Intercontinental Championship win of his career.

The match seemingly went without a hitch until the ending segment where the pace picked up and Lashley seemingly looked ahead to the end and forgot that he had a few more moves before then. Rollins delivered a kick in the corner and The All Mighty actually bumped it before Rollins actually connected with him and fell to the floor whilst Rollins was still in the air.

It was the only awkward moment of the match and since Lashley's name is one that comes up on botch lists quite often, he seems to be improving.

#1 Mic Skills

WWE Superstars are said to be some of the highest trained athletes in the world but that doesn't mean that there wasn't a number of mic botches throughout Raw's show, these included botches from Sasha Banks, Vince McMahon, Ronda Rousey, Baron Corbin, and even the commentary team.

A number of times Renee Young was forced to apologize because she botched a name or seemed to be concentrating too much on what was going on in her ear and was then just saying words that made no sense. It wasn't just Young who had this issue either since Michael Cole tripped over his lines a number of times as well.

The nerves were definitely with the WWE roster last night and it could be the build to The Royal Rumble that has every WWE star feeling tense and it definitely showed.
