3 feuds WWE Raw should end and 3 they should move on to

The WWE Universe is waiting for some interesting rivalries
The WWE Universe is waiting for some interesting rivalries

Raw has been quite entertaining since the past few weeks, but that is sure to come to an end if it remains the same.

We’ve been seeing a promo from either The Shield or the Dogs of War open the show, with a match between members of The Shield and Dogs of War to kick things off. Later, the end result is a six-man tag team match involving the same men to close out the show.

The middle of the show usually sees The Ascension take on either one or both of Bobby Roode and Chad Gabriel, and an MMC team going head to head.

Other than that, there a few promos to set up future matches for pay-per-views.

With six superstars, namely Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, and Dolph Ziggler, highlighting Raw every week, it’ll only result in a fall in ratings and loss of interest from fans sooner than later.

Therefore, it is important for the WWE to ensure that they end a few of these feuds soon, and move on to newer and fresher feuds that can help both the brand and the superstars.

#3 End - Finn Balor vs Jinder Mahal

Balor and Mahal have been filling the gaps on Raw
Balor and Mahal have been filling the gaps on Raw

Week after week we’ve been seeing a mixture of matches between individuals of two Mixed Match Challenge tag teams comprising of Finn Balor and Bayley, and Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox.

The repeated matches make it evident that the WWE Creatives have no direction for two of its most talented superstars, Bayley and Finn Balor, while Jinder Mahal has fallen from grace and Alicia Fox has been around forever with no impressive feuds under her belt.

Jinder Mahal is running a ‘Shanti’ gimmick, which isn’t doing too well and it's obvious during matches that he himself forgets which gimmick he is running at the moment.

Balor and Mahal feuding each other needs to stop immediately for the sake of both the superstars, who are currently struggling on the main roster. Balor needs to move onto a bigger and better feud leading to a prize, while Jinder needs to be established as a meaner heel in the absence of Kevin Owens on Monday Nights.

#3 Begin - Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley

Will we witness a new rivalry?
Will we witness a new rivalry?

We saw on the October 15 edition of Raw that the creatives are already looking at a feud between the two men as soon as Lashley has been turned heel.

Lashley has been involved in meaningless feuds since his return, with the only major one being against Roman Reigns. Apart from that, he’s been a part of a number of squash matches that has done nothing to prove his dominance.

Balor is one man who has the entire WWE Universe behind him and that makes him one of WWE’s biggest babyfaces.

Lashley’s previous match against Tyler Breeze saw the crowd going completely silent behind him which is unusual compared to when he was a face and fighting minnows.

If Balor and Lashley were to feud together soon, then it’d do great for both the superstars and no matter who comes out on top, it’ll increase the value of both the men on the main roster.

#2 End - Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre

It's a shame that only one of the two men will be in the World Cup
It's a shame that only one of the two men will be in the World Cup

Every single Monday Night we see Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre put on the best performance of the night in a feud that has extended for quite some time.

Compared to the match-ups we were seeing between Rollins and Dolph Ziggler, Rollins and McIntyre have been giving fans a lot more than they’ve been wanting to see.

This has not only helped Drew McIntyre return in a dominant manner but also allowed Seth Rollins to put on great matches week after week without having to put his Intercontinental title on the line.

But it’s finally time for the WWE to stop the matches between the two men so that a hiccup does not ruin the feud they’ve already had. This feud has already been memorable, and the fans do not want either man taking an easy pin-fall to ruin the great matches they’ve had in the past.

Rollins now needs to move onto other feuds and start defending his Intercontinental Championship.

#2 Begin - Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose

Who will turn first?
Who will turn first?

Who’d be a better champion after Seth Rollins than the Lunatic Fringe himself? Every other week on Raw, fans wait patiently for Dean Ambrose to turn on his brothers in The Shield and to go after one of the championships they hold.

Week after week, fans are tricked into thinking that the turn is hanging on the edge, but does not happen at the end of the night. October 15 saw the closest we’ve come to a heel turn from Dean Ambrose since his return.

Now it is almost certain that Ambrose will face Seth Rollins sooner than later, as it seems like tensions are rising between the two men with Roman Reigns completely out of the frame.

WWE has a knack of surprising its fans at times, and maybe we will see Seth turn on Ambrose before Ambrose gets a chance to turn. That would make the rivalry even more interesting, and protect Ambrose from turning as Seth did a few years ago.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have put on some of the best matches in the past, and there is no doubt that with Ambrose’s new move set and increased power, they will put on a show in the months to come.

#1 End - Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman

Lets put this rivalry to sleep
Lets put this rivalry to sleep

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman have had feuds in the past which had provided a lot of power-show and incredible displays of strength from both men.

They once again find themselves in a feud together, as Strowman struggles to find his first individual championship in the WWE.

With the strength and the move-set he possesses, it’s a shame he hasn’t won even a single title and this has disheartened his fans too since a long time.

Currently, Strowman is after the WWE Universal Championship held by Roman Reigns, and It seems like The Monster Among Men will once again be unsuccessful in winning the title due to a new threat that looms.

It’s also been noted that Vince McMahon wants Roman Reigns to be the face of Monday Night Raw, and therefore he will hold the Universal Championship for some time before a new champion takes over.

Hence, running Reigns into a feud with a man who can literally crush him is not only bad for the image of both men but also a disappointment for the fans.

WWE needs to put a stop to a feud between the two after Crown Jewel, and bring in a new competitor for Roman Reigns.

#1 Begin - Braun Strowman vs Drew McIntyre

It could turn into the biggest feud on the red brand
It could turn into the biggest feud on the red brand

It was the highlight of the October 15 show, as Drew McIntyre first hit the Claymore on Strowman by mistake, but later followed up with another one after the match.

This marked the end of the Dogs of War, as for the first time since his return we saw McIntyre walk up the ramp on Raw after a match without his tag team partner Dolph Ziggler.

McIntyre also waited till Strowman was done laying waste to Ziggler before attacking him, showing that McIntyre might be planning to go solo after he and Ziggler lose the Raw Tag Team titles some time.

A contest between two of the biggest and most powerful men on the Raw roster will surely ignite arenas around the world, as fans have been hoping and wishing for a Strowman vs McIntyre showdown.

It seems like Strowman is ready to be put into a feud with McIntyre after Crown Jewel, who might play a role in Strowman not being able to win the title. If so, then the two men will be main eventing on Monday Nights for months to come.
