3 Heel turns and 2 face turns that could happen at WWE Survivor Series 2020

Could we see the swerve of the century at Survivor Series?
Could we see the swerve of the century at Survivor Series?

Look, the final episode of SmackDown did not do much to get us pumped up for WWE Survivor Series 2020 at all, because it was an underwhelming affair. A lot of the decisions did not make sense, from making Otis the fifth member of the WWE Survivor Series 2020 team for SmackDown and the fact that there was no invasion from RAW this year.

But then again, WWE may be saving the swerves and the twists for the actual show, for WWE Survivor Series 2020. So, here are 4 heel turns and 1 face turn that we could actually see during the course of the show that could make things very interesting indeed for the weeks that follow after WWE Survivor Series 2020.

#1 Big E turns heel at WWE Survivor Series 2020, as he costs The New Day their match

There has to be a reason why Big E, a man who is genuinely the most entertaining character on SmackDown is not a part of the WWE Survivor Series 2020 men's team while Otis is. And the said reason could be that even though he's stressed time and again that he's on the side of The New Day (we conducted a special interview with Big E ahead of WWE Survivor Series 2020, that you may check out in the Tweet below); we could see a massive heel turn from him.

The fact of the matter is that SmackDown superstars like Aleister Black and even Otis need heels to work with, and so Big E could turn heel at WWE Survivor Series 2020 where he allows The Street Profits to pick up a win, by costing his brothers their match. A heel Big E will be serious, and will finally be considered a top star.

#1 Sheamus turns face at WWE Survivor Series 2020 as he prevents a cash-in on Drew McIntyre

Even though Sheamus has been presented as a heel on WWE programming, and Drew McIntyre is the top babyface on the RAW brand, the two men have certainly proved that heels and faces can be good friends. Could Drew McIntyre, broken and bent after his match with Roman Reigns at WWE Survivor Series 2020 be the victim of a potential cash-in by The Miz?

But as Drew McIntyre is about to lose his WWE Championship, the music of the Celtic Warrior could hit, as he proves that he's mended his ways and turned babyface by thwarting the cash-in. It would be a great moment, and The Miz could actually live to fight another day after WWE Survivor Series 2020.

Babyface Sheamus could be Drew McIntyre's backup when, say, RETRIBUTION comes gunning for him, or The Hurt Business does.

The possibilities are endless and the fact that we could finally see a new side of Sheamus after WWE Survivor Series 2020 presents a pretty exciting prospect indeed.

#2 Asuka turns heel at WWE Survivor Series 2020, as she launches blow upon blow on Sasha Banks

Did anyone else find it strange that on the final edition of SmackDown before WWE Survivor Series 2020, we saw a very weird incident happen where Carmella rained blow upon blow upon Sasha Banks, as Asuka just stared on in silence? Could this be a foreshadowing of an upcoming heel turn where Asuka just goes bad after WWE Survivor Series 2020, embarking on a different kind of reign? It makes all the sense in the world for a variety of reasons.

Could Charlotte Flair return to action, this time as a babyface, and take the fight to Asuka who has now turned heel, in a very different kind of match, thereby allowing The Queen to become a very different kind of character from what we're used to as well, until now?

As a heel Champion, she can also take on potential challengers such as Naomi, Dana Brooke, Nikki Cross, and even Mandy Rose, when she returns to action.

#2 Natalya turns face as she prevents her former friend Lana from going through a table at WWE Survivor Series 2020, attacking Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

So Natalya, after multiple unsuccessful attempts has finally made it to the women's team at WWE Survivor Series 2020 and she will go up against Lana, someone who was once in the same team as her. We know that Lana has been going through tables galore in the weeks leading up to WWE Survivor Series 2020, and it is likely to continue at the pay-per-view as well. But could Natalya come to the aid of her former friend at WWE Survivor Series 2020, thereby turning face in the process?

Bayley will need babyfaces to take on, while she's out of the title picture following WWE Survivor Series 2020, and who better to have good matches with, than a babyface Natalya?

Natalya's heel character is also more annoying than well, heelish, for lack of a better word, and a change in character will do a world of wonder for her.

#3 Keith Lee turns heel during the course of his big WWE Survivor Series 2020 match

We know that Keith Lee, along with Riddle, is probably the only pure babyface on the WWE Survivor Series 2020 RAW men's squad, but there needs to be some change in his character to get over when it comes to a mainstream audience. Could Keith Lee take his entire team down at WWE Survivor Series 2020 as he turns heel, in a move that shocks the world?

This raging bull could then join The Hurt Business and go after Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship after WWE Survivor Series 2020. The same argument that was made for Cedric Alexander, that he was a talented man who lacked direction, can also be made for Keith Lee, as he becomes the face of The Hurt Business and has MVP talk for him.
