For many wrestlers, joining WWE is the culmination of a lifetime of sacrifice.

The biggest wrestling company in the world today, many current Superstars probably grew up watching the show, so to become a part of WWE must be a dream come true.

But there's the old adage, that all good things come to an end, and in the WWE, nothing lasts forever.

And with the WWE drawing nearer to their biggest show of the year, WrestleMania, there could be plenty of huge departures very soon.

But with these losses, comes a spot on the roster, and an opportunity for a new star to make their presence known in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.

Here are three WWE Superstars the fans may have to say goodbye to after WrestleMania 35, as well as two that may join the company.

3: May leave: John Cena

A true icon of the company, John Cena has done everything he could possibly accomplish in WWE.

A 16-time World Champion, Cena is a two-time Royal Rumble winner, Money in the Bank winner, United States Champion and Tag Team Champion.

A name as recognizable as Hulk Hogan and The Rock, it seems impossible to imagine the WWE without Big Match John.

But that may be the case in 2019, as Cena continues to focus more of his time on his acting career, having successful roles in films like Ferdinand and Transformers prequel, Bumblebee.

With Cena still without an opponent for WrestleMania 35, it may be time for the WWE Universe to prepare to say their goodbyes to someone who love him or hate him, carried the WWE on his back for years.

2: May join: Marty Scurll

Could Marty Scurll finally find his way to the WWE after dominating in other promotions?

Marty Scurll has come a long way from where many people first saw him, as the straight-laced clean-cut star on TNA's version of Tough Enough, British Bootcamp.

Whilst he came up short against winner Rockstar Spud (now in WWE as Drake Maverick), Scurll has completely changed himself over the years, becoming one of wrestling's most charismatic stars.

Holding titles in New Japan, Ring of Honor, PROGRESS and Rev Pro, it's clear that many promotions take Scurll seriously, and are willing to put him on top.

As the WWE continues to get more aggressive in the signing of independent stars across the world, expect Scurll to at least have a generous offer made at him by the McMahon-run company.

Whether he ends up joining the WWE though, remains to be seen.

2: May leave: Brock Lesnar

Lesnar is reportedly hoping to return to UFC soon.

The current Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar is perhaps the most controversial Superstar in the WWE today.

Returning in 2012, Lesnar has held the WWE Championship once since returning, and the Universal title twice.

All of these reigns have been mired in controversy, as fans and Superstars alike have grown frustrated at Lesnar's cushy deal, which allows him to make a handful of appearances a year.

With Lesnar looking at heading back into the Octagon soon though, his time with WWE may be coming to an end.

His next confirmed match in WWE will take place against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35, which could be a perfect way to write the Beast out of the company.

A huge loss for sure, but there'll be plenty of fans who will want to say good riddance to the Beast.

1: May join: Jay Lethal

Lethal is the reigning Ring of Honor World Champion.

One of the most decorated stars in recent history, it's amazing that Jay Lethal hasn't been signed to WWE before.

The reigning Ring of Honor World Champion, Lethal has also held the company's Pure and Television Championships.

In Impact, Lethal is a former Tag Team Champion (with Xavier Woods) and an outstanding 6-time X-Division Champion.

With plenty of gold under his belt, Lethal also has years of experience, something that Triple H often looks for when signing talent to NXT.

As a part of the developmental brand, Lethal could help nurture the next generation of Superstars, as well as have plenty more entertaining feuds.

With former Impact stars like Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode and AJ Styles all having success in WWE, could Lethal be the next one to jump to the biggest wrestling company in the world?

1: May leave: The Undertaker

It has been years since the Deadman held a championship in the WWE.
It has been years since the Deadman held a championship in the WWE.

Debuting at the 1990 Survivor Series, The Undertaker has had a career unlike anyone else.

With an incredible 24-2 streak at WrestleMania, the Deadman has held the WWE, World Heavyweight, WWE Tag, WCW Tag and Hardcore championships.

A Royal Rumble win only adds to the Phenom's list of accolades, but what sets him apart from everyone else is his longevity and respect.

But all good things do indeed come to an end, and it seems that time has finally caught up with The Undertaker.

With no plans currently known for him at WrestleMania, this year's showcase of the immortals could be just the third one he's missed (after 1994 and 2000).

A sure-fire Hall of Famer, the Deadman could easily go in in 2020, if he says goodbye to in-ring competition this year.
