For any wrestling fan it would be hard not to be thrilled by the return of "The Animal" to the WWE and for sure Batista's return has created a lot of buzz and excitement as it's been a long time since he had stepped into a WWE ring. Batista would be featuring in a "Legacy Fight" of sorts against Triple H in which there's no championship, no other tangible thing that is on the line.

All that would be on the line is the pride of the two wrestlers. Batista has shown interest in making a return to the WWE ring even before, and now he's finally here. What it does is it opens up the possibilities of some dream feuds which he could be involved in (whenever he feels like sticking around). Let's go through a few of the possible dream feuds Batista could be booked in WWE.

#1 Brock Lesnar

"The Animal Vs The Beast" both of whom started their journey together in OVW and achieved great success in the WWE ring. Both of whom are known for completely decimating their opposition and both are probably the most gifted and imposing personalities to have stepped into the WWE ring.

The match writes itself with the stakes on the line to decide who is the most dominant guy in the ring. Brock works on a part-time schedule these days and is usually on and off with his appearances.

Ideally, Batista would be on a similar schedule (maybe even lesser), so matching both of them for a once in a lifetime opportunity makes a lot of sense and would provide great billing as well.

#2 Randy Orton

This doesn't even need advertising. Randy and Batista have a long history of going after each other and trying to find out who is better of the two. There have been times in their career where Batista has had the upper hand while there have been others where Randy has enjoyed more success.

Batista at a point of his career left WWE to pursue an acting career while Randy has stuck around to become one of the biggest stars the company has ever produced. He's a 13-time world champion, which in some ways dwarfs what Batista has achieved in the squared circle.

The storyline tends to write itself and for a change this time, WWE can actually pit Batista as the heel who is on a mission to prove he's better than Randy.

#3 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan marked the beginning of the

Daniel Bryan's Victory over Batista and Randy Orton at WWE WrestleMania was the start of the "Yes" movement which has since then gained so much momentum and created an identity of its own.

It was this feud which put Daniel Bryan on the path to success and since then he's grown from strength to strength and is currently ranked among the best in the business.

Batista has preferred to play the role of a heel so he could make the return with the aim of righting all the wrongs of the past. It was Batista's demise that coincided with Bryan's rise and in some ways, it was Bryan's Victory at WrestleMania that led to Batista's departure.

All these things could be tied together as Batista would make a comeback to go after Bryan and prove who is actually better.

#4 Drew McIntyre

This could be one of the "passing the torch" matches between the two. Drew McIntyre is the future of WWE, he is for sure a complete package and doesn't seem to lack anything in any department. He's a powerhouse just like Batista was in his heyday in WWE and he would want to prove that he is "The Man" now.

To prove this, Drew McIntyre could start a feud against Batista by challenging him for a match to try and prove he's ready for the big game and in effect bury Batista.

This could turn out to be a unique feud with both powerhouses going after each other without leaving anything on the table. This could prove to be a stepping stone as well for Drew's career as he makes the logical progression to the big league.
