Money in the Bank cash-ins are probably one of the best things about WWE as the sheer anticipation and excitement of the moment adds an extra element of anarchy in any event that has Money in the Bank holder in it. Over the years, we have seen some of the memorable moments because of such unexpected cash-ins as along with the challenger, it also elevates the whole show to a new level.

If done right, the challenger can become the face of the company in just one evening, but if done wrong, the holder of the briefcase becomes the joke of the entire industry as their momentum and push comes to an abrasive halt. Let's take a look at some of the most memorable cash-ins in history.

#4 Dolph Ziggler - Raw 2013

Alberto Del Rio had successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Swagger at Wrestlemania 29 but was again forced to wrestle him the night later on Raw in a handicap match also involving Swagger's manager, Zeb Colter. Although he won the match after a gruesome fight, he was exhausted to take on anyone else.

But, heel Dolph Ziggler took advantage of the situation and decided to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. The Raw after Mania crowded erupted when Ziggler's music hit after Del Rio's match and he made his way to the ring along with Big E and AJ Lee.

Even though he was a heel and Del Rio was a babyface, the crowd didn't care about the heel-face alignment as they were tired of Del Rio's lacklustre reign. The show-off, at that time, was seen as an underappreciated worker, so when he finally got his due, the hardcore crowd gave him the pop that he deserved. Even though his eventual title reign was cut short due to a concussion, this moment will always be remembered as one of the best Raw after Mania moment.

#3 Randy Orton - Summerslam 2013

Daniel Bryan had just defeated John Cena to finally win his first WWE Championship at SummerSlam after a gruesome encounter. The crowd was riding on a wave of emotion as the internet darling was finally at the top of the company.

But, as he was celebrating his momentous win, Triple H turned on the new champion and hit him with a pedigree to allow his former Evolution stable-mate and the holder of Money in the Bank briefcase, Randy Orton to come down to the ring and cash in to become the new WWE champion. All he had to do was cover Bryan for a pin, as he had taken a mighty pedigree from Triple H. Just ask Booker T how deadly a pedigree can be.

It wasn't a feel-good moment at all as one of the fan-favourites was ripped off his chances. But, it then turned into one of the best storylines of the decade and the cash in alone was very effective as it was the beginning of the Yes Movement.

#2 Edge - New Year's Revolution 2006

The concept of Money in the Bank may not have become this grand if the first cash in wouldn't have been so perfect. Fortunately, we had Edge in that position, who is absolutely tailor-made for such a situation. The ultimate opportunist patiently waited for his chance to come, and when it finally arrived in 2006's New Year's Revolution, he absolutely nailed it.

After successfully defending his WWE championship in an Elimination Chamber's match, John Cena was completely exhausted and vulnerable. But, it didn't stop Edge as Vince McMahon came to the ring to stop Cena's celebration and announced that the Rated-R superstar will finally cash in his briefcase.

Two spears later, Edge was standing tall over a bloody-faced Cena with his newly won WWE championship. The cash in was booked to perfect as a heel challenger waited for the champion to be at his most vulnerable state to take his chance and provided the blueprint for all the future cash-ins.

#1 Seth Rollins - Wrestlemania 30

The most memorable cash-ins was also the best one as it had taken place in the biggest stage of them all, Wrestlemania. No one had ever cashed in at WrestleMania before, let alone in the main event of such an event. Seth Rollins' cash-in is probably the first thing that comes to mind about 2015's Wrestlemania; the second one, of course, being how Sting was screwed in his debut match in WWE.

Seth's run in the WWE championship match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to make it a triple threat contest elevated the already great main event and gave us one of the best Wrestlemania moments of all time. Despite being a heel, Rollins received a huge pop as the moment and the unexpected end to the evening was too good not to get a huge response from the crowd.

It also saved us from a calamitous Mania's closing moment as either of the winners wouldn't have satisfied the crowd. Lesnar was already hated as a champion due to his part-time status and nobody had wanted to see Roman in the title picture in the first place.
