After the recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton is once again set to lock horns with The Bloodline when he faces Tama Tonga in the semi-final of King of the Ring 2024 next week.

For those unaware, the latest episode of the blue brand featured two KOTR quarter-final matches where both Tama and Orton emerged victorious. This also led to a heated confrontation between The Bloodline and The Legend Killer during the concluding moments of the show.

With all the recent chaos, The Tribal Chief might make his presence felt sooner than the fans expected. In this article, we will discuss why Roman Reigns must help Randy Orton win this year's King of the Ring.

#4. To send a message to Solo Sikoa

Since the arrival of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, Solo Sikoa has been trying to establish his dominance on SmackDown. He is also seemingly attempting to manipulate Paul Heyman by claiming that he is in regular contact with Roman Reigns, which doesn't appear to be true.

If The Tribal Chief aids Randy Orton in his battle against the Samoan faction in this semi-final match, it will send a clear message to The Enforcer that Roman is still the one who holds the power, despite not being the champion.

However, it's important to note that Roman might not make a physical appearance himself to aid The Viper. Instead, he could instruct Paul Heyman or Jimmy Uso to intervene on his behalf.

#3. Reigns could help Orton as a punishment to Sikoa

Another reason why The Head of the Table must help Randy Orton emerge as the victor is to punish The Tribal Heir for lying to The Wiseman. Paul Heyman has revealed that he has had no contact with Roman Reigns since his loss at WrestleMania XL.

However, Solo Sikoa has claimed on SmackDown that, per the orders of The Tribal Chief, he will be in charge of The Bloodline until Reigns returns. Last week on the blue brand, Solo boldly asserted that he is in regular contact with Roman, which astonished Paul Heyman.

Therefore, it's possible that the former Undisputed WWE Champion might aid The Legend Killer as a punishment for The Enforcer’s deceit, highlighting Solo’s malicious intentions in lying to Heyman.

#2. It could be the best way to have Randy Orton in the finals of KOTR

The new version of The Bloodline is currently riding high on momentum, as evidenced by their hard-fought victory over Orton and Kevin Owens at Backlash France. However, if Roman helps The Apex Predator emerge victorious, it could be the best way to advance Randy to the finals of King of the Ring without diminishing the momentum of Solo's faction.

Additionally, Tama does not necessarily need to win the King of the Ring, especially given that The Bloodline Saga is already one of the hottest storylines in the Stamford-based promotion.

#1. To plant seeds for Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa

If Roman Reigns aids Randy Orton against Tama Tonga, it could also plant the seeds for a potential showdown between Reigns and Sikoa. The Tribal Chief's actions against the Samoan faction led by The Enforcer may not sit well with Solo, ultimately resulting in a confrontation between them whenever Reigns makes his return.

This confrontation will eventually set the stage for a monumental clash between these two Samoan stars.
