WWE has been the market leader in the wrestling world for decades now and over the years, they have successfully transitioned their programming to suit their audience - all the way from the Attitude Era to the current PG Era. The WWE Universe appreciates the efforts of the men and women that step between those ropes to entertain the fans. They have seen Superstars turn into legends and take on other roles with the company to enhance the overall product.

With so many new companies emerging, the biggest wrestling juggernaut of them all, WWE, has understandably lost talent to the competition. While some Superstars have decided to move on from WWE, some have remained. These Superstars have been through the eras, and continually strive to provide high-quality sports entertainment. The fans still enjoy a surprise entrance by these revered superstars.

We may be aware of these superstars because they have given us some great moments on TV during the Attitude Era, but have since taken up new roles in the company Without further ado, let's dive into it:


#5 Road Dogg

A member of The New Age Outlaws and D-Generation X, Road Dogg has been a part of WWE for a long time and took part in some of the most entertaining segments on TV. He was an integral part of DX during their run either side of the millennium, with plenty of segments that fans still remember.

Road Dogg resigned as the head writer for SmackDown after WrestleMania 35 and later joined NXT, where he works with the talent at the WWE Performance Center. He has been said to have been one of the influential figures behind the scenes, and is generally regarded as one of the greatest wrestling minds in the company.

#4 Big Show

Big Show has been a part of WWE programming since 1999. The Superstar worked for World Championship Wrestling for four years, where he was also a part of the New World Order (nWo). The World's Largest Athlete has won numerous championships during his illustrious career. He won the WWE Championship on two occasions and was also the ECW Champion once. The seven-foot giant won the Heavyweight Championship twice and the Hardcore Championship thrice during his career.

He bagged the Tag Team Gold with his fellow WWF/E performers on eight different occasions where he won it twice with The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho, and The Miz. The Big Show showed his prowess during other championship victories as well as he was the United States and Intercontinental Champion once during his time in the company.

Big Show makes sporadic appearances on WWE programming these days. He teamed up with Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe on the 6th of January 2020 episode of RAW to defeat Seth Rollins and AOP via disqualification and most recently challenged Drew McIntyre to a match after WrestleMania, where he was still defeated by the Scottish Psychopath.

#3 R-Truth

R-Truth is a likable superstar because he performs the funniest segments to perfection. He is a former 24/7 Champion, but little did anyone notice him during the WCW and ECW invasion angle.

The Superstar found great success when he teamed with Road Dogg, but he was called K-Kwik at that time. He worked with a fictional character Little Jimmy and formed a tag team, with The Miz, which was called Awesome Truth. The team had memorable feuds with Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston and even competed for the tag team titles at Night of Champions before being fired by Triple H the next night due to their attack on an official.

The two Superstars went on to attack Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, and John Cena and the referees before getting arrested at Hell in a Cell. He also teamed with Kofi Kingston during his career and was a part of The Golden Truth with Goldust as well as a tag team partner with Xavier Woods and were called The Rhinestone Cowboys.

R-Truth is a 35-time 24/7 champion and a two time United States Champion. He won the tag team gold with Kofi Kingston once and has been the Hardcore Champion twice during his illustrious career. He is still an active wrestler with the company.

#2 D-Von Dudley

Devon Hughes, also known as D-Von Dudley, was an integral part of the team The Dudley Boyz. He is a Hall of Famer and joined WWE (then WWF) in 2000, along with his tag team partner Bubba Ray Dudley. The team redefined the tag team division, with their opponents The Hardy Boys and Edge and Christian.

D-Von has been a part of the singles competition as well and went on to serve as Mr. McMahon's 'spiritual advisor' before serving as the pastor and mentor for Dave Batista. He reunited with his tag team partner during the Survivor Series in 2002 and took down the group 3-Minute warning.

They worked with La Résistance and The Un-Americans before getting into a story with The Undertaker. D-Von worked mostly as a tag team and kidnapped Paul Bearer in 2004 to set up a storyline for The Great American Bash with The Deadman.

D-Von won the WWF/World Tag Team Championship 8 times, and the WWE, as well as, the WCW Tag Team Championships once, and all of them were with Bubba Ray Dudley. He has been working with WWE as a producer since 2016.

#1 The Undertaker

The Undertaker is one of the biggest and the longest-serving employee of the WWE. The Phenom who once thought that he would be debuting as The Egg Man debuted as the mystery partner for Ted Dibiase's Million Dollar Team during the Survivor Series event.

He had worked with WCW before his stint with the WWE, and now his career spans over four decades, where he has been a part of various storylines. The Deadman worked as The American Biker Taker, and Big Evil along with a host of characters during his career. He has led a faction named The Ministry of Darkness and was also called The Lord of Darkness.

The WWE Universe has loved his characters over the years, and The Phenom holds a WrestleMania streak that is the biggest in sports-entertainment history. He has a career that is worthy of being in the Hall of Fame, but The Deadman still likes to fight his opponents between those ropes more than watching the action unfold from ringside or even backstage.

He most recently won the be Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36 against AJ Styles. The Undertaker makes sporadic appearances and is an active wrestler in a part-time role.
