Take a look at the five biggest questions from WWE this week.

#5 Was it necessary to book a match between Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre on WWE RAW?

At WWE WrestleMania 37, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre kicked things off in front of a live audience. Lashley was able to get the better of The Scottish Warrior and retained his WWE Championship after a great contest.

McIntyre has since taken a loss from Braun Strowman on WWE RAW, while Strowman picked up a loss against Lashley this week. WWE has now booked a match between McIntyre and Lashley for next week’s RAW.

Lashley, Strowman and McIntyre will compete in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania Backlash for the WWE Championship. Lashley and McIntyre are the two favorites to win that match. Keeping that in mind, should WWE give fans a match between the two men for next week?

RAW seems to be trying to build its top title scene with way too many matches rather than top segments. While the match on Monday will likely be interrupted by Strowman, WWE could have held this booking back.

Would it have been better to have the final build before WrestleMania Backlash through a promo segment? Or do The All Mighty and The Scottish Warrior need to compete in the ring to build up towards the Triple Threat Match?

#4 Is WWE preparing for Sonya Deville’s in-ring return?

Sonya Deville has been performing her duties as a WWE official on both RAW and SmackDown for some time. Deville has been seen with Adam Pearce on a number of occasions, but she hasn’t been as impactful as him.

But all that changed last week when Deville called out Charlotte Flair and lifted her suspension from the ring. This week, Deville decided to exercise a lot more of her power on RAW.

Deville appeared after Flair defeated Dana Brooke and offered her a chance to make a proposal. Flair demanded entry to the RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash. Deville decided to grant Flair her wish.

Will Deville’s partnership lead to her in-ring return on RAW? Will the storyline involving her and Flair take her to the RAW Women’s Championship picture sooner rather than later?

Many of Deville’s fans want to see her return to the ring. She was a good wrestler who could help improve the RAW women's title scene.

WWE creative could be building towards Deville’s in-ring return, and this storyline seems like a good way to bring her back into action.

#3 Will Randy Orton be used to elevate the WWE RAW tag team division?

AJ Styles and Omos defeated The New Day to win the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 37. Styles is a wrestling veteran, but he is still new to the RAW tag team division.

The victory allowed Styles to become a Grand Slam Champion, while Omos won a title in his first match on television. The Phenomenal One could help RAW make its tag team division better as it hasn’t been doing too well over the past couple of years.

What’s more interesting is the fact that Randy Orton has formed an unlikely team with Riddle. Orton is also a veteran who has a lot more experience in the tag team division and has done very well in the past.

Riddle made his mark as the NXT Tag Team Champion, and he too could do well in RAW’s tag team division. Keeping that in mind, will WWE creative use Orton to help make the Red brand’s tag team division more prestigious?

Orton and Riddle’s pairing could end up making the division much better in the months to come. While Styles and Omos could do well, it is Orton who can elevate the entire division himself.

The Viper has the quality to make any title he holds more valuable. Therefore, WWE's creative team should look to hand him and Riddle the titles before the end of the year.

#2 Should Santos Escobar be getting a shot at KUSHIDA’s WWE NXT Cruiserweight Championship?

KUSHIDA shocked the WWE Universe by pinning Santos Escobar for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship on April 13. This was Escobar’s first title defense since unifying the Cruiserweight Championships at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

KUSHIDA had to wait a long time to get his hands on a title in WWE. Now that he has the Cruiserweight title in his hand, it looks like NXT creative will allow him to have a decent run with it.

Escobar has gotten himself a rematch for the title for next week’s show. The 2-out-of-3 falls match will likely help NXT cement the Japanese Superstar as the new face of the cruiserweight division.

However, is it the right move to give Escobar another shot at the title instead of having him move into some other rivalry? Escobar has already had a long and good run with the title, and it’s time he passes the torch to KUSHIDA.

Another loss could dent his image as he has been rather dominant during his time in NXT. Will it be fair to have him lose two consecutive championship matches in NXT? Or will creative cut KUSHIDA’s title reign short?

#1 Can Jimmy Uso talk Jey out of following The Head of the Table on WWE SmackDown?

After a great rivalry with Roman Reigns last year, Jey Uso was forced to join his cousin and become a part of his counsel in WWE. Reigns choked out Jimmy Uso at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 and forced Jey to utter the words “I quit” to hand Reigns the victory.

Jey has been loyal to his cousin ever since and has helped him pick up several major victories. However, Jimmy's return to the middle has made things much more interesting on SmackDown.

This week, Jimmy returned and clarified that he won’t take orders from Reigns like his twin brother. Jimmy also cost Seth Rollins his match against Cesaro during the episode. This allowed Cesaro to get in contention for the Universal Championship.

Will Jimmy's return lead to Reigns’ downfall on SmackDown? And will he be able to talk his brother into standing up for himself once again?

WWE can build a really good storyline around Reigns and The Usos. Fans could end up watching one of the two brothers put an end to The Tribal Chief’s Universal Championship reign by the end of the year.
