The last WWE pay-per-view of the year – Survivor Series 2021 – is finally in the history books. RAW won the battle for brand supremacy with a 5-2 score against SmackDown.

Now there is more than a month left for the next pay-per-view that is scheduled to take place on January 1, 2022. Until then, both main roster brands will witness their top superstars engaging in new, exciting rivalries.

Here, we look at the biggest WWE feuds that can start on RAW and SmackDown after Survivor Series 2021. So, without further ado, let's begin.

#5 Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE SmackDown)

As confirmed on Survivor Series, WWE has lifted Brock Lesnar's suspension. The Beast Incarnate was fined a million dollars and handed an indefinite hiatus after he destroyed Roman Reigns and The Usos, half of Smackdown's roster, as well as Adam Pearce.

He is now free to return to the Blue brand and is expected to target the Universal Champion again. Prior to his recent absence from television, Lesnar was involved in a brutal title feud with Reigns.

He even challenged him for the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel but could not beat The Tribal Chief. One of the defining factors of this WWE feud was Paul Heyman's involvement.

Despite serving as Roman Reigns' Wiseman, Heyman's loyalty was often the subject of debate. Brock Lesnar, constantly implying that he still has a secret alliance with his 'former' advocate, also framed those beliefs.

Even during the match between Lesnar and Reigns, Paul Heyman threw the Universal Championship into the ring to be used as a weapon. Although the decision eventually favored The Head of the Table, the latter still questioned Heyman's intentions.

Lesnar lost the match at Crown Jewel because Reigns had assistance from The Usos. Thus, he has enough reasons to return and rekindle his feud with Roman Reigns on SmackDown.

Brock Lesnar has evidently been enjoying his role as an unapologetic babyface since his WWE return earlier this year. He will return with the objective of punishing The Bloodline for not giving him his fair match.

He might not necessarily return on SmackDown this week, with several backstage reports claiming that he is set to return on December 10th. However, this would still be the biggest feud after Survivor Series and will mostly lead to an epic bout at the 'Day 1' pay-per-view.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns might face King Woods again. He could also turn his attention towards Jimmy Uso, who Randy Orton pinned in the clash between The Usos and RK-Bro at Survivor Series.

Reigns had warned Jimmy against losing in essential matches, and this is the second time he has taken the pin this month. Regardless of who opposes him, he still needs to keep an eye out for his old nemesis, who is expected to return soon.

It will be interesting to see Paul Heyman's role in the storylines mentioned above. He is likely to side with his Tribal Chief but has he truly ditched his old client? Heyman often snaps when he is asked about Lesnar backstage in WWE.

Given how incredible he is as a storyteller, he could play a significant role in extending the feud between Reigns and Lesnar, especially when the latter's record as the longest-reigning champion is now at the risk of being broken by The Head of the Table.

#4 RK-Bro vs. The Dirty Dawgs (WWE RAW)

Randy Orton broke the all-time WWE record at Survivor Series 2021 by becoming the superstar with the highest number of pay-per-view matches in the promotion's history. The record was previously held by Kane.

Orton and Riddle defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos to pick up an important victory for the Red brand. They will now look forward to their next challengers on the show.

The Dirty Dawgs are likely to challenge Randy Orton and Riddle for the title next. If The Viper competes in a match tonight on RAW, he will also become the superstar with most matches on the brand.

The creative team will look to capitalize on this opportunity to make history two nights in a row. It will be exciting to see if the writers intend to up the stakes by booking a title bout between the two tag teams.

#3 Sheamus vs. Jeff Hardy (WWE SmackDown)

Former WWE World Champions Jeff Hardy and Sheamus were part of Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. At one point, they were the two remaining members from the Blue brand in the five-on-five elimination match. They came together to deliver incredible spots together, but it didn't last for long.

Once Sheamus was eliminated from the match, he attacked Hardy, putting the latter at a disadvantage against Team RAW's Seth Rollins and Austin Theory. Although The Charismatic Enigma put up an excellent fight, he couldn't bag the victory for SmackDown. Jeff Hardy will remember these events and will most likely confront The Celtic Warrior after the pay-per-view.

It's been a while since we saw Hardy dominating inside the ring in a high-profile match. He is clearly enjoying himself and deserves to be a part of the biggest feuds on the Blue brand. Hopefully, we will see him engage in a mutually beneficial storyline with Sheamus over the coming weeks.

#2 Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan (WWE RAW)

Becky Lynch delivered the best match at WWE Survivor Series when she faced her former best friend, Charlotte Flair. Both superstars brought their best versions to the squared circle to engage in one of the most believable feuds we have seen in a while.

Lynch eventually emerged victorious after tricking the referee. And seemingly put a pause on this storyline. The Man will now shift his focus towards the number one contender for her title, Liv Morgan.

Morgan defeated her fellow Survivor Series teammates to win a shot at Lynch's title. Their last confirmation was slightly questionable, but fans are excited to see Liv Morgan in the title picture.

It would have been better if she was booked strongly at Survivor Series. Unfortunately for her, Bianca Belair defied all odds to win the women's match for RAW. Thus, Morgan could see Belair eventually hijacking the title picture once again, but before that, The EST of WWE might decide to focus on Doudrop.

Apart from Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan, the RAW Women's division might see another feud unfold between the two tag teams. Queen Zelina and Carmella are expected to challenge Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

#1 Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro (WWE SmackDown)

WWE Survivor Series 2021 featured a 25-Man Dual Brand Battle Royal that featured several top superstars, including AJ Styles, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn. At one point, Cesaro, Zayn, and Ricochet were the only SmackDown Superstars left to compete against at least seven RAW Superstars.

Sami Zayn tried to get the three representatives of the Blue brand to compete with a united front, but he got carried away. He started insulting Cesaro and Ricochet, which led to them leaving Zayn to fend for himself until he was eliminated from the match. In one of the most disappointing decisions from the Survivor Series, the multi-man bout eventually ended with Omos winning it.

Zayn, the self-proclaimed locker room leader on SmackDown, will look to turn this agreement into a potential feud with Cesaro. This could be an excellent opportunity to give both superstars much-deserved time on television.

He could also engage in a feud with Ricochet - both these angles will help bring more new and entertaining rivalries to SmackDown in the coming weeks.
