The Road to WrestleMania has officially begun with the conclusion of the 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. WrestleMania 37 is set to take place later this year on April 10 and April 11, 2021, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The show will be a huge deal for WWE as live fans are set to return for the first time in over a year.

The next few months leading up to The Grandest Stage Of Them All are sure to be interesting as WWE tries to slowly shape up the match card for their biggest show of the year. Several things could change and unexpected twists and shockers could happen.

Let's take a look at the five bold predictions for WWE on the Road to WrestleMania 37. Be sure to comment down and let us know your thoughts on the same.

#5 Edge and Christian team up ahead of WrestleMania 37 in a massive Tag Team match

WWE Hall of Famer Edge won the 2021 men's Royal Rumble match and has already confronted WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, NXT Champion Finn Balor, and Universal Champion Roman Reigns on RAW, NXT, and SmackDown respectively. The Rated-R Superstar facing either of these three at WrestleMania 37 would be a great match.

The 2021 Royal Rumble also saw the return of Christian, a former world champion and tag team partner of Edge. Their reunion at the Rumble was one of the best moments of the night and fans would surely love to see the two team-up once again.

As per reports, the planned match for WrestleMania 37 right now is Edge facing Roman Reigns for the Universal title. If that is indeed the case, we could see Christian get involved in this feud as well. Roman Reigns has had the numbers advantage in his recent feuds with Jey Uso by his side, but Christian could even things up.

In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 37, WWE could book a massive tag team match with Christian and Edge teaming up once against to take on Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. This could be a great match on a pay-per-view like Fastlane before the big WrestleMania showdown between Edge and Roman Reigns.

#4 Triple H feuds with a major NXT Superstar leading to a match at WrestleMania 37

One of the biggest WWE Superstars who missed last year's WrestleMania was Triple H. The 14-time world champion is still an active in-ring competitor and WWE might bring him back for The Showcase of Immortals later this year. A recent report also suggested that WrestleMania 37 is set to be a 'parade of former stars' and Triple H is someone who could add a lot of star power to the card.

For the past few years now, there have been debates on who should be the one to retire Triple H, one of the greatest and most decorated WWE Superstars of all time. The best option to do so would surely be a new Superstar from NXT and that might happen this year on the Road to WrestleMania 37.

Several Superstars on NXT could be called up to the main roster soon and what better way to announce your arrival than defeat and possibly retire The Cerebral Assassin. The storyline could unfold on NXT, giving them a massive rating boost, and the match could take place at WrestleMania 37. The likes of Adam Cole, Tommaso Ciampa, or even Johnny Gargano could be possible contenders to feud with Triple H.

#3 Aleister Black returns with a new look on the Road to WrestleMania 37

The Road to WrestleMania is a time when some massive returns take place and one name that could do the same this year is SmackDown Superstar Aleister Black. The former NXT Champion has been off WWE TV for many months now following the release of his real-life partner Zelina Vega aka Thea Trinidad.

However, reports suggest that WWE has some huge plans for his return and a possible re-debut. If that is indeed true, Black could be back in the mix on the Road to WrestleMania 37. Moreover, WWE has a great opportunity to shake things up and give him a new look or even a modified gimmick.

Aleister Black previously teased some new looks on his social media after Seth Rollins and Murphy damaged his eye on an episode of RAW last year. Black did return with an eye-patch but it disappeared soon after. The Dutch Destroyer could return ahead of WrestleMania with a new look and finally get the booking that he deserves, possibly winning a mid-card title at The Show of Shows.

#2 Randy Orton finds a new ally against Alexa Bliss and 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt ahead of WrestleMania 37

One of the most intriguing feuds currently unfolding on the Road to WrestleMania 37 is that between Randy Orton, who is up against the eerie duo of Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt. Sure, Orton burned The Fiend down in the middle of the ring at WWE TLC 2020, but it won't be wrong to say that things have only turned worse for him since then.

Sooner rather than later on the Road to WrestleMania, The Fiend will be back to make Orton pay for what he did. Randy Orton will surely need some backup to even the odds against The Fiend and Alexa Bliss. One RAW Superstar who can be a perfect fit to ally with Orton would be Nikki Cross.

This could ultimately set up a mixed Tag Team match at WrestleMania 37 with Randy Orton and Nikki Cross taking on 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss with some bizarre stipulation added. This could lead to multiple angles - be it Nikki Cross turning on Orton to join Bray Wyatt, or Alexa Bliss somehow revealing the weakness of The Fiend and exposing him.

#1 Brock Lesnar makes his return to WWE setting up a massive championship match at WrestleMania 37

If Edge challenges Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 37, then that leaves WWE Champion Drew McIntyre without a major opponent. Of course, there's no shortage of Superstars on RAW who want to get their hands (no pun intended) on McIntyre's title, there is a certain Beast Incarnate who could make his return and go after the WWE Champion.

Brock Lesnar was last seen on WWE TV at WrestleMania 36 where he dropped the WWE title to Drew McIntyre. In August 2020, reports emerged that Lesnar's WWE contract had expired and he was a free agent. As massive as the news was, it was also reported that Vince McMahon would likely bring him back for the WrestleMania season.

Drew McIntyre is set to defend his WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber later this month. That could be a great opportunity for Brock Lesnar to return after the match and attack McIntyre, setting up a WWE title clash at WrestleMania 37. There were also reports of WWE booking a triple-threat between Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar, and Keith Lee for the WWE title at WrestleMania 37 and this might just set that up as well.
