5 current WWE Superstars you probably didn't know were parents

The life of a WWE Superstar is far from easy. Not only do you have to deal with bumps in the ring as well as the constant risk of injury, but you also have to face a life on the road, away from your home. For many wrestlers, therefore, the idea of being in a relationship seems impossible (unless they are on the road as well), and the idea of starting a family seems even less likely.

For some WWE Superstars, they have been able to become parents, despite spending their life in and out of the ring. Even some Superstars of today have children, though you'd be forgiven for not knowing.

Here are five current WWE Superstars you (probably) didn't know were parents.

#5 R-Truth

A two-time United States Champion, Truth has become a marked man since becoming 24/7 Champion.
A two-time United States Champion, Truth has become a marked man since becoming 24/7 Champion.

The reigning (and two-time) WWE 24/7 Champion, R-Truth has done plenty in WWE throughout the years. Joining the company all the way back in 1999, Truth has also held the Hardcore title, United States title (twice), and outside of WWE, he is a former NWA Heavyweight Champion.

Whilst fans may know of the Superstar's accolades though, few know of his personal life. He keeps his personal life outside of the public eye for the most part unless the family happens to be attending an event.

R-Truth has two daughters, both of whom were born in the past five years. Not much is known about his family aside from his marriage to his wife in 2011, as well as the birth of his children. With Truth as the 24/7 Champion though, he should keep an eye on all family members trying to make their big break in the wrestling business.

#4 Robert Roode

Roode has held the NXT, United States, RAW Tag Team and 24/7 Championships.

In the latest WWE NEWS, The Glorious One isn't the most active Superstar on social media which means much of his personal life has been kept, well, personal. Joining the company in 2017, Roode has held the NXT and United States Championships, briefly held the RAW Tag Team Titles with Chad Gable, and recently captured the 24/7 title.

Though little about Roode's life outside the ring is clear, it is known that the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion has three children, all of whom are out of the limelight, Nicholas, Riley and Robert III.

Instead of posting about his children, Roode uses his social media to focus on his work, often promoting upcoming shows, appearances and helping to continue ongoing storylines outside of the ring. Fans can only wonder if the little-Roodes will follow in their father's Glorious footsteps.

#3 Lacey Evans

The Southern Belle of WWE has a daughter that would sometimes appear backstage during her time in NXT.
The Southern Belle of WWE has a daughter that would sometimes appear backstage during her time in NXT.

She may have only become a member of the main roster in the past six months, but Lacey Evans has done a lot in such a short period of time.

During her tenure on RAW, Evans has become a hot-button discussion point on the red brand, competing against Becky Lynch for the RAW Women's Title at Money in the Bank, and though she didn't win, it seems this feud is far from over.

As her story on the main roster continues, fans will come to know about the Lady of WWE, though only a handful of fans will know that she is a mother.

Her daughter would sometimes be present backstage during the Southern Belle's time in NXT, and even today can be occasionally spotted on Lacey Evans' official Instagram account.

#2 Brock Lesnar

Lesnar is a two-time Universal Champion and could be closing in on reign three.
Lesnar is a two-time Universal Champion and could be closing in on reign three.

He may be one of the biggest stars in wrestling history, as well as the current men's Money in the Bank contract holder, but Brock Lesnar's life is shrouded in mystery. This is seemingly intentional, as Brock himself said on the Stone Cold Podcast that he doesn't like people, so it's no surprise that the Beast doesn't share much online.

Though many fans will know that he is married to former WWE Superstar and Women's Champion Sable, few will be aware that the couple have two sons together. Lesnar also had a daughter with an ex-girlfriend from the early 2000s, so he has taken on the role of a parent since his arrival into the WWE.

As if all this wasn't shocking enough, the Beast Incarnate is also a grandfather, which you can find out more here.

#1 Samoa Joe

Joe has accomplished a lot during his WWE career.
Joe has accomplished a lot during his WWE career.

Even before Samoa Joe made his dominant presence felt in WWE in 2015, the heavyweight was in the public eye due to his epic career in TNA Wrestling. Now part of the McMahon-based company, Joe has done very well for himself, becoming the first two-time NXT Champion, as well as recently capturing the United States title.

Even a Google search wouldn't net results for much information regarding Joe's personal life, but he has previously stated that he has two sons. This tweet confirms that Joe is indeed a father, a fact that is unknown to most fans of WWE.

Over the past year, Joe has become a kind of evil father-figure in WWE, first addressing AJ Styles' family, and most recently taking on Rey Mysterio's son Dominic. We're not sure how we'd feel if our father could slap on a Coquina Clutch at a moment's notice.
