WWE Superstars entertain us almost every single day, whether it's through house shows, Raw, SmackDown, 205 Live, NXT or even pay-per-views. And sometimes, wrestling is a tough job, but a little enjoyment could make things normal.

When we get bored, we pull pranks on our friends, just for our entertainment and WWE Superstars are no different. They too rib their colleagues for their fun which, most of the time, makes us laugh as well. Most of the times, their prank didn't hurt anybody but sometimes, things have gone a little too far.

The following are 5 WWE Superstars who pulled great pranks on other wrestlers.

#5 The mysterious man who asked for an autograph

That autograph guy...

Owen Hart is a famous name when it comes to ribbing wrestlers in WWE. Multiple WWE Superstars have revealed how Owen would prank others without hurting them. One such story also involves Val Venis. Speaking to Kayfabe Commentaries, Val revealed that many few years ago, when he was travelling to a WWE show through the St. Louis airport, kids started asking him for an autograph. He happily agreed and signed for them.

After that, a man came to Val and asked him to sign an autograph on his (Val Venis') pictures. The Superstar denied his request and continued signing for kids. After he went to his hotel room, his phone rang, and from the other side, someone asked Val to sign those pictures.

Val denied his request again and before he could sleep, his phone rang again, and the person asked him to come and meet him at the lobby. Without thinking, an angry Val goes to meet him, but when he reached the lobby, no one was there except Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart, who were sitting on a chair. Val asked them if they saw a man with his pictures, to which they nodded and sent him to the outside.

It took more than an hour and a half for Val to go to sleep again. He forgot about the incident soon, but 6 months later, Edge revealed to him that it was Owen Hart who pranked him at St. Louis airport. The guy who asked for an autograph was real, but Owen did the calls pretending to be the lobby guy.

#4 The Undertaker fears cucumbers and Owen Hart knew that

Owen again!
Owen again!

Owen was so famous for his pranks that he didn’t leave a single guy in the locker room and even The Undertaker got ribbed by him. Many fans don’t know about this, but The Undertaker fears cucumbers. It might sound weird, but it’s true.

In Something to Wrestling With Bruce Prichard podcast, WWE’s Brother Love revealed how Owen would prank The Undertaker on various occasions.

“Owen put cucumbers in the bottom of the iced tea so that when Taker drank the tea and drank it back, he didn’t realise the cucumbers were in there until it was looking at his face. Sometimes Owen would hide them in his tights and then put them in Taker’s face during a headlock. It was always fun to place cucumbers in odd places for Taker. Just like a cucumber on top of his bag would freak him out.”

It’s one of the reasons why The Undertaker failed to maintain kayfabe during some of his matches against Owen Hart. Unfortunately, Owen passed away a few years later and now, no one even thinks of pulling this great prank on The Deadman.

#3 Davey Boy Smith increased Lex Luger's tension

Things could have gone worse
Things could have gone worse

Lex Luger was once destined to become a top WWE Superstar. However, due to multiple reasons he never reached this position. In the previous two slides, we talked about Owen Hart and the pranks he pulled but in this one, we will learn about a prank his partner-in-crime, Davey Boy Smith did. In an interview given to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The British Bulldog said this:

"We were in Virginia and there were some plainclothes police officers there and I had a water gun. I was shooting water at them and they were getting really mad. They approached me and asked who was doing it? I said, Lex Luger.

Lex was known for driving roughly, and it's why the former Intercontinental Champion suggested the cops to chase and catch him. However, that night, Lex was following the traffic rules. Then, Davey Boy Smith said that Shawn Michaels is chasing them and he wants to race. After that, Lex picked up some speed but then, the cops put a light on their roof. The chase quickly ended, and the officers came towards them.

"After taking his license and registration, the police walked back toward their car. I yelled at the police, 'Blow it out your a**!' The cop turned around, immediately, walked back to our car, and told Lex to get out of the car. Lex said, 'It wasn't me. It wasn't me.' The officer looked in the back seat and asked Owen who said that? Owen sheepishly points and say it was Lex Luger."

Many wrestling fans and even Vince saw this incident, but somehow, the Superstars managed to get out of it without getting in any trouble.

#2 Jonathan Coachman gets arrested

WWE is scripted Coach!

Everyone knows that everything that happens in WWE is staged. The writers plan all the segments in advance so that nothing could go wrong. However, it seems like Jonathan Coachman didn’t know about this during his initial days in WWE.

Speaking to Back Sports Page, Coachman revealed how Vince McMahon pulled a great prank on him:

"Basically, Jerry Brisco came up to me in 2001 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and he said he wanted me to run a football pool. $10 to pick all the games and everybody did it. And I started on a Tuesday, it was a Smackdown taping, I'll never forget it. I had my own room I did interviews in, and all the sudden two cops show up. They were very serious and said I understand you're running a gambling pool. You sold one to one of our undercover cops here. It's a felony in North Carolina and we're going to have to take you in.”

They went to Vince McMahon’s room where the chairman cursed Coachman for what he did. The cops told that $1500 could get Coachman out, but Vince refused to help him.

They handcuffed me, and I asked if there was anything I could put over my face. Vince threw me a pair of sweaty gym shorts that got stuck on my face.

The cops drove him for sometime before returning to WWE. Then, everyone started laughing at Coach and revealed that it was a prank. This story was so funny that WWE even made an animated video of it.

#1 Randy Orton stole Cody Rhodes’ clothes

Randy Orton is a narcissist in the ring, but in real life, he too can rib someone off. In the book Rumble Road, Orton revealed that he once stole Cody Rhodes' clothes.

...it’s a common prank amongst us that if you leave that tanning bed door open while you’re tanning, we'll go in there and steal your clothes.

The other Superstars were laughing after knowing what Randy did. Cody didn't know about this incident until Orton went to his room and then, the former Intercontinental Champion understood what has just happened.

Even though it's a funny story for us to hear, it certainly isn't the best thing that has happened to Cody in WWE. However, despite this incident, Orton and Cody are friends and still respect each other a lot.
