The WWE Hall of Fame is a prestigious group of individuals that have had a remarkable impact on the history of the business. To this date, a total of 204 individuals have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Every year, WWE selects a few wrestlers/groups/personalities to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and one of them headlines the Hall of Fame ceremony. After devoting their whole life to the business, these wrestlers are honored by WWE for their contribution.

With D-Generation X headlining the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2019, fans are anticipating who all could go into the Hall of Fame next year.

The current WWE roster has so many legends and superstars who surely would be in the Hall of Fame in the future. But will they headline it?

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 Future Hall of Fame headliners in the current WWE roster.

Please note: I haven't included obvious names like The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H and some more.

#5 Charlotte Flair

Will The Queen headline Hall of Fame in the future?
Will The Queen headline Hall of Fame in the future?

Charlotte Flair, the daughter of the legendary wrestler and 2-time Hall of Famer, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, is one of the greatest female superstars and athletes that WWE has witnessed. In her comparatively short career, she has already been WWE Women's Champion a record 8 times.

Now due to her current booking, many fans are indeed calling her the female "Roman Reigns" of WWE, but the fact is that if you hate a heel, the heel is doing the right job. Charlotte is the only women in WWE history to ever hold the NXT Women's Championship, WWE Divas Championship, RAW Women's Championship, and SmackDown Live Women's Championship. No one will ever replicate this feat of hers!

At WrestleMania 35, she created history by competing in the first-ever women's Main Event in WrestleMania history. She competed in a triple threat match against Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch in a "Winner Take All" match for the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championship. Even though she didn't win the match, her legacy was cemented in history with this match.

With so many accolades to her name, Charlotte could very well be the first Women to headline the WWE Hall of Fame class whenever she gets into it. She deserves it!

#4 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan has been one of the most cheered superstars in WWE history!

Daniel Bryan, the leader of the YES movement, is undoubtedly one of the biggest babyfaces in the history of pro wrestling. Such was his fan-following that WWE had to forcefully add him to the main event of WrestleMania 30. But the versatility of the guy is such that even after having such a babyface following, he currently is a heel who forces everyone to hate him.

The fact is, no one hates Daniel Bryan - the wrestler, as we all know he is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. But he has played his heel character to such perfection that fans hate his character and hence boo him.

Starting his career in Ring of Honor, Bryan currently is a 4-time WWE Champion and has also held the World Heavyweight Championship once. He is also a Grand Slam champion winning all major titles, Intercontinental, United States, and Tag Team Championships.

Having such a historic career, I am sure Daniel Bryan will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in the future, and may very well headline it.

#3 Randy Orton

The Viper! The Apex Predator!
The Viper! The Apex Predator!

Randy Orton is a Superstar that comes once in a lifetime. Being a third generation superstar, Randy has not only carried the legacy of his father and grandfather but has enhanced it to new heights.

Debuting in 2002, Randy became the youngest World Champion in WWE history at the age of just 24 years. Being a part of one of the most legendary factions, Evolution, Randy soon reached new heights of success in WWE.

Better known by nicknames like The Legend Killer, The Viper, and The Apex Predator, Randy Orton has the fourth-most world championship victories in the history, with 9 WWE Championship reigns and 4 World Heavyweight Championship reigns.

Apart from these, he is also the 8th Grand Slam Champion in WWE history, a two-time Royal Rumble winner and Mr. Money in the Bank 2013.

Only a few superstars have such an amazing pro-wrestling resume like Orton. He is a sure shot future Hall of Famer and should definitely headline it as well.

#2 The Hardy Boyz

The Hardy Boyz!
The Hardy Boyz!

Matt and Jeff, The Hardy Boyz, are one of the greatest legendary team in the history of the business. This duo of real-life brothers first started teaming together back in 1993 and later signed a contract with WWE in 1998.

Being known as ladder-match specialists, the Hardy Boyz are the only team to have held the WWE, WCW, TNA, ROH, RAW, and SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Their hardcore Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match against The Dudley Boys and Edge and Christian are considered to be one of the greatest matches of all time.

Both Jeff and Matt have separately also held the World Championship on multiple occasions and it could be argued that they also deserve to be in the Hall of Fame as individual superstars.

Wrestling for almost two and a half decades now, their current run as the SmackDown Tag Team champions might just be their last one. Their contributions to the world of Tag Team wrestling is unmatched, and they surely will be in the Hall of Fame, once they choose to call it a day.

#1 The Shield

The Shield is one of the greatest faction in WWE History!
The Shield is one of the greatest faction in WWE History!

At Survivor Series 2012, a group of 3 men debuted during the WWE Title match and took the world by storm. This amazing trio consisted of 3 NXT Rookies, each of whom is now a Grand Slam Champion in WWE.

The Shield, consisting of the Big Dog, Roman Reigns, the Beast Slayer, Seth Rollins, and the Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose, the Shield is one of the greatest factions in the history of WWE. As a trio, they took out some of the biggest legends of the industry, including John Cena, The Rock, and even the mighty Undertaker.

After splitting up in 2014 courtesy a Seth Rollins betrayal, all the three members have continuously been in the main event scene of both RAW and SmackDown. At the Money in the Bank PPV of 2016, all the three Shield members held the WWE World Championship on the same night.

Having such a storied career, and with all the 3 members being top singles champions, The Shield will surely make it to the Hall of Fame one day, probably headlining it.
