The Biggest Party of The Summer has now been and gone and whilst the main change in WWE is the fact that there are four new Champions, there have also been a number of statistical changes for the company that should be noted as well.

SummerSlam followed another fantastic Takeover: Brooklyn show that definitely set the tone for the entire weekend. WWE didn't need to rely on surprise returns or long-winded promos at this year's SummerSlam event since it was a solid event when the focus was on the wrestling alone.

Statistics are key in wrestling, they are the things that wrestlers will brag about long after their careers come to an end, so here are five interesting ones that every WWE fans should know that were created at SummerSlam.

#5 Ronda Rousey makes history

Ronda Rousey won the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam in just her fourth televised WWE match. This title win solidifies Ronda's transition from UFC to WWE but the fact that she was able to destroy Alexa Bliss and become the Champion in WWE means that she is the first female to win both UFC and WWE Championships.

Ronda pointed out on Raw last night that she wasn't Brock Lesnar, even though it could be argued that she has been booked similar to The Beast over the past few months, but hopefully, WWE has learned from their mistakes and will be able to book Ronda as the Champion she deserves to be as part of the company.

#4 Curtis Axel's title record

Curtis Axel is the definition of a mid-card superstar, but this past weekend at SummerSlam Axel was able to successfully defend his Raw Tag Team Championships along with Bo Dallas, which means that he now has a better record at SummerSlam than his father Mr. Perfect.

Axel is now undefeated in Championship matches at SummerSlam whilst her father's record is 3-0 at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Axel and Dallas have been undefeated as a team ever since they became The B-Team, but last night on Raw it appeared that The Revival finally had their number.

#3 Charlotte equals Trish Stratus' long-standing record

The first-ever women's triple threat match to take place at SummerSlam saw Charlotte walk out as the new SmackDown Women's Champion which means that she has now equaled Trish Stratus' long-standing seven-time Women's Championship record.

Trish left WWE back in 2006 at Unforgiven where she defeated Lita to win her seventh Women's Championship, but Charlotte has now equaled that record following her win at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Charlotte has been making history and breaking records throughout her career, but Trish's record was one that many thoughts was safe, but it's now been equaled by Charlotte and could be broken in the coming months.

Brock Lesnar has had a lot of fun in Brooklyn over the past few years since The Beast was undefeated in SummerSlam main events. Lesnar has main evented the last five SummerSlam's as well as SummerSlam back in 2002 alongside The Rock and SummerSlam back in 2012 as well.

Brock Lesnar was pinned for the first time at SummerSlam last night when he lost his title to Roman Reigns, which means that both he and Roman Reigns are the only two men in WWE history to have held the WWE and the Universal Championships.

Seth Rollins won the Intercontinental Championship from Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam on Sunday night, which means that the former World Champion has won the IC title at the two biggest events of the year, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam.

Rollins has also become just the seventh WWE star to be a multi-time Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and World Champion which shows just much WWE have relied on The Architect over the past few years. The six other stars have achieved this feat are Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Edge, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart which puts Rollins in a group with some of the best wrestlers in the world but also makes him the only current WWE star to have this accolade.
