5 interesting things that could happen on WWE RAW's next episode (22 April 2019)

WWE Raw this week comes to us right after the Superstar Shake-up and as the landscape of the company, and show changed last week, a lot of surprises await the fans. With so many options possible, I looked at the possible option of a match between Seth Rollins and AJ Styles.

While that is fantasy booking, there are a host of other options available and seemingly possible during this week's episode of the show. In this article, I look into the possible options and storylines that can make waves as Money In The Bank draws close.

With three weeks to go for the pay-per-view, let's look at what may transpire during this week's episode of RAW.

#5 The Miz continues his assault

It's must-see

It's no secret that Shane McMahon was blind-sided sided by The Miz when he entered during the start of the show and took the member of the McMahon clan to the crowd. While the storyline may have less time to build up, the fact that The Miz and Shane O'Mac can pull this one off, and keep the fans involved in the storyline is going to make Raw worth your time.

A sneak attack by The Miz can be countered by a match or some harsh booking by Shane, and this back and forth will keep the fans involved. It would be nice to see The Miz's father and Vince McMahon come face to face down the line.

A storyline involving the wrestlers and their families has always been fruitful, and this one will be no different. The Miz's skills on the mic and Shane's heel persona make way for some amazing storylines, and this is definitely something that will keep the fans invested.

A storyline with a tricky finish at Money In The Bank or some other stipulation will be worth the time.

This tweet by the one and only Ricochet confirms that there are some amazing things in line for the performer. He is working in a tag team right now, but this image as a singles performer gives across a different meaning.

Does this mean that he will be pulled off from tag team competition, or will he be given a title opportunity this week? With so many options on the show, if Ricochet gets the opportunity against Finn Balor or a Universal Championship match, it would be amazing.

While these are possibilities, the dust will settle when Raw comes to our tv screens this Monday night. Also, it would be nice to see if Ricochet involves his mom's home being caught on fire in the storyline. Will the company allow him to do so in any way possible or will it be something else at the end of the day?

#3 Lacey Evans gets the upper hand on Becky Lynch

Lacey Evans is a credible competitor, and the company has shown immense trust in the performer as she was granted a #1 contender match for the Raw Women's Title against Natalya. She won it with a phenomenal moonsault and has taken the storyline to another level.

Her attack on Becky Lynch via Twitter was just another aspect to make this storyline even better as the match day approaches. It is no secret that Lacey is able to perform her character to perfection, and this push by the company confirms that she will be the champion down the road.

Whether that happens at Money In The Bank or some other show over the year needs to be seen. This segment will be wonderful, and shouldn't be missed at all because you never know if the former NXT performer will get the upper hand or the champion will get the first shot.

#2 Who's coming?

Bray Wyatt is scheduled to return soon, and we at Sportskeeda have kept you updated with every minute of this possible return. While we reported what was possible, the company has also released a vignette of someone coming, because there is a box that opens and out comes a creature.

This is considered to be a sign of Bray Wyatt returning in a new look, and last week the company also showcased a video which looked like Sister Abigail on the chair of Bray Wyatt.

While a lot of us have been speculating, it would be nice to see if the company brings back the most loved superstar in the WWE and his mystique to Monday nights.

A storyline involving Sister Abigail will be a good one, but we would have to wait and see if Luke Harper also returns with him. The superstar had asked for his release and shared the information pertaining to the same on Twitter.

#1 Will someone challenge 'The Architect'?

Seth Rollins is a fighting champion, and while he hasn't defended his title since winning it from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, it may be a possibility that the current reigning champion will issue a challenge on Raw.

If he doesn't do it, will someone step up to the plate and challenge the champion for the gold? There are various options, but AJ Styles is the most preferred challenger for his title. If he challenges 'The Architect' on Raw for the title, expect everyone on the edge of their seat in the arena and at home as well.

The two can tackle any competition and put on a great show, but let's see how this goes down this week before the Money In The Bank match card is set.
