5 matches AJ Styles must have

Who doesn't love AJ Styles?
Who doesn't love AJ Styles?

AJ Styles debuted in 2016 in WWE and has quickly transitioned into the most over full-timer in WWE today. He has become the go-to man for WWE in tricky situations and he has delivered every time he is given an opportunity. The Phenomenal One has made a name for himself by facing the likes of Reigns, Ambrose, Cena, Jericho and Brock Lesnar in just a short career in WWE.

Styles still has a lot of potential dream matches left in his arsenal and with him hinting at retirement in two years, he needs to make every feud count from now on.

Styles is never known to give bad matches, produced an instant classic with a 47-year-old Shane McMahon, led Jinder Mahal to the best match of his career and gave Brock Lensar a worthwhile performance after years.

Styles still has many potential rivals left and let's look at five of them currently working on the main roster.

#5 AJ Styles vs Neville

Neville vs Styles will be a feast for the eyes
Neville vs Styles will be a feast for the eyes

Neville was supposedly on his way out after the controversy back in October but as per reports he is back on good terms again and is ready to make his way back into the company.

WWE needs to make sure that Neville gets the spotlight he deserves and give him a full-fledged run on the main roster.

Neville is one of the most underrated talents in WWE as he has put on some of the best matches while in NXT and on the main roster as well.

If Neville returns on Smackdown Live and goes after the current WWE Champion, one can expect a five-star match in WWE after years.

#4 AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe

Lets revisit the 2000s, shall we?
Let's revisit the 2000s, shall we?

The two pillars of indie wrestling back in the 2000s, Styles and Joe have come a long way from fighting each other in TNA and other indie promotions. Styles is now a two-time WWE Champion while Joe became the first ever two-time NXT Champion.

Styles and Joe have had similar paths to the WWE and are two immensely talented individuals who are capable of producing fantastic encounters. Both of them have yet not crossed paths in WWE due to the brand split, but a confrontation between these two superstars is inevitable in the near future.

AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe will be a match of Wrestlemania calibre and WWE needs to play their cards right with this one!

#3 AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura

THIS IS AWESOME!
This could be a match for the ages

Ever since both these Superstars debuted in WWE back in 2016, fans have been hoping for a match between these two tremendously talented performers. Nakamura's debut on Smackdown Live fueled speculations of a Wrestlemania match between these two, and currently, according to the insider reports, this match is on the card!

Styles won the championship last month, and if Nakamura wins the Royal Rumble, fans will go wild in anticipation for this match. These two Superstars have faced each other before in NJPW and produced a top-quality match. If they go one-on-one at the Grandest Stage of Them All, they have the potential to tear the house down!

Styles has laid down the challenge for Nakamura at a house show recently, and WWE needs to make this happen some time or the other.

#2 AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins

Fans would love the Phenomenal One take on the Crossfit Jesus!
Fans would love to see the Phenomenal One take on the Crossfit Jesus!

Styles has faced Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, but is yet to cross paths with The Architect, Seth Rollins. These two are the best overall performers in the company with Rollins being the MVP of 2015 and Styles claiming that spot in 2016.

Styles and Rollins have delivered top quality matches from time to time during their stay in WWE and a match between them will make the WWE Universe go wild. Just like Joe, Rollins has yet not crossed paths with the Phenomenal One, barring a stand off at Survivor Series last year, where WWE teased a major match between these two superstars.

Rollins and Styles won't face each other soon, but whenever it happens, it better be given the spotlight it deserves.

#1 AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan

Two GOATS to face each other? BOOK IT VINCE!
Two GOATS to face each other? BOOK IT, VINCE!

YES! YES! YES! Probably the most far-fetched match in the list, but a dream match nonetheless, Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles will be a match for the ages. Bryan was forced to retire back in February last year, but has expressed his desire to return the ring every time he has got the chance.

Bryan has been cleared by several doctors for an in-ring return and has himself said that he feels much better than earlier.

Imagine the clock ticking down for the final entrant in Royal Rumble, the Fight of the Valkyries plays, the arena goes crazy with YES chants and Bryan officially comes out of retirement. A difficult but completely plausible scenario for WWE to achieve.

Bryan vs Styles headlining Wrestlemania will be "Best for Business".
