Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre will tear it up this week

Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre engaged in a feud for the WWE Championship that has stretched out all through the summer, as the two top RAW Superstars have waged a war that has involved ambulances and also, WWE legends as well as a Hell in a Cell structure.

And now, in what one hopes will be the final chapter of their rivalry, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre will clash on RAW for the WWE Championship ahead of Survivor Series, and the winner will be crowned as the face of WWE's flagship brand, going forward.

Here are five ways that the match this week could go. Be sure to weigh in with who you think will win the new WWE Championship when Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre slug it out on RAW this week.

#5 Drew McIntyre defeats Randy Orton for the WWE Championship

Drew McIntyre looks like a movie star, is one of the more successful WWE projects of the current era, and when the bell rings, he can totally go! The company has firmly been behind his back to push him to the top of the mountain as a top star, and so on WWE RAW, he could certainly hit a Claymore and bring Randy Orton's reign to a pretty premature end this week.

And the reason for this sudden title change is because while a Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns match could be fun, it is still a heel vs. heel contest and little more. However, there is a readymade storyline for Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns based on the events of SmackDown.

Plus, Triple H has hyped a contest between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns as the Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock clash of our generation.

#4 Randy Orton somehow manages to remain the face of RAW, defeating Drew McIntyre

Randy Orton has won the top prize in the business more times than most others in and he has done so because he's a reliable hand, has great matches, delivers great promos, and like a fine wine, becomes even better with age. And because Randy Orton defeated Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell only recently, it is likely that Drew McIntyre could suffer a loss on this week's episode of RAW.

Drew McIntyre needed the help of multiple legends to defeat Randy Orton in a previous encounter, and as strongly as he has been booked thus far, it is not outside the realm of possibility that he could suffer a loss on WWE RAW.

And so, this could be the final time that these two men battle one another, and Randy Orton could then move into a very different kind of feud with The Fiend.

Drew McIntyre could go on to win the Royal Rumble and challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37 for the Universal Championship.

#3 The Fiend crashes the proceedings and leaves both Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre unable to continue

There's a third man who's been involved in the whole fracas with Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre and his name is Bray Wyatt, someone who has a bone to pick with Randy Orton from his time in the Wyatt Family, and someone who doesn't seem like he is far too pleased with Drew McIntyre either.

Because WWE may not want Randy Orton to be defeated so soon after becoming the WWE Champion or even have Drew McIntyre take a pin to make him look strong, they could just have The Fiend invade the proceedings to bring the match to a premature halt, with no decisive winner.

In fact, if the Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre match ends in such an indecisive manner leading into Survivor Series, it would probably mean that the three men would mix it up in the episodes that follow, with the feud essentially determining the outcome of the upcoming Royal Rumble match as well.

#2 The Miz swoops and wins the WWE Championship completely out of the blue

The WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre will not be a contest for the faint of heart because these are two men who will not show any clemency at all as they take each other to task in the ultimate slugfest. Chances are that these two men will weaken each other to such a point that Mr. Money in the Bank, The Miz, could swoop in and make a claim for the WWE Championship when he does. If The Miz does become the WWE Champion, it would really shake things up on the RAW roster.

And in fact, if The Fiend takes both Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton down, it just leaves the option open for The Miz to come in and win the WWE Championship to become the face of the RAW brand.

With neither Drew McIntyre nor Randy Orton making it to Survivor Series, imagine how different the possible main event match will look. It should be an easy victory for Roman Reigns, however.

#1 Roman Reigns shows up on RAW and causes a distraction, influencing the final outcome

Based on what happened on SmackDown this week, with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre showing up from RAW and confronting Roman Reigns, it's not just a probability but a genuine likelihood that Roman Reigns will invade RAW and interfere in the main event match in some way, causing a distraction.

Whether the distraction allows Randy Orton to pick up a big win, setting up a Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre match at some point down the line or whether it allows Drew McIntyre to win the match so that Roman Reigns and McIntyre could battle at Survivor Series certainly remains to be seen.

Or maybe Roman Reigns delivers spears to both participants, allowing for The Miz to come in, cash-in his Money in the Bank contract and win the top prize in the RAW brand.
