Throughout the history of WWE, there have been many real-life couples on the WWE roster. Being on the road almost the entire year, WWE Superstars don't have enough time to spend outside of it and often get into a relationship with a fellow WWE Superstar.
Now, WWE and Vince McMahon have never shied-down from using its Superstars personal life and relationships in WWE programming to give it a deeper sense of story, trying to blur the lines between kayfabe and reality.
There have been several WWE couples who have been together in a storyline, even teaming up to take on other real-life couples on the roster. In the end, such storylines highly rely on the "sports entertainment" side of the thing, and well, they are pretty fun at times.

#5 John Cena & Nikki Bella vs The Miz & Maryse
In what I'll describe as a highly entertaining feud, John Cena & Nikki Bella vs The Miz & Maryse was one of the greatest couples' rivalries in recent memory. Thanks to the hilarious acts of Miz & Mrs, who gave us several parody vignettes dressed as John Cena and Nikki Bella, mocking their relationship, fans had a great time.
The feud took place on the road to WrestleMania 33, shortly after John Cena lost his 16th World Championship to Bray Wyatt at Elimination Chamber 2017. The Miz and Maryse took shots after shots at both Cena & Bella. From making fun of John Cena's "house rules", to accusing Nikki of using Cena to get to the top of WWE's women's division, to even bringing in the fact that Cena has no intention to marry Nikki, both of them played their heel character to perfection.
This ultimately led to a mixed tag-team-match between the four of them at WrestleMania 33. It was obviously the faces John Cena and Nikki Bella who defeated Miz & Mrs to win the match. But what happened afterward was a massive WrestleMania moment as the Leader of Cenation went on to propose Nikki in the middle of the ring in front of thousands of people and she said yes.
Unfortunately, the couple broke up a year later in April 2018, shortly before they were scheduled to marry. John Cena is currently in a relationship with Shay Shariatzadeh while Nikki Bella is engaged to Russian dancer Artem Chigvintsev. She announced her pregnancy earlier this year.
#4 Dean Ambrose & Renee Young vs The Miz & Maryse
Maryse's return to WWE on the RAW after WrestleMania 32 led to her accompanying her husband The Miz during most of his feuds over the next couple of years. The couple feuded with several other WWE couples, one of whom we mentioned in the previous slide. Another interesting rivalry that the two had was against Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley in AEW) and Renee Young.
During Dean Ambrose's feud with The Miz in late 2016, WWE decided to bring his real-life relationship with WWE interviewer Renee Young into the mix. During an episode of SmackDown, when Renee was taking an in-ring interview of The Miz, the A-lister took things a little too far by making comments about Renee sleeping with Ambrose. This didn't go well with Renee who slapped Miz and walked-off.
Throughout the next few weeks, we saw several segments involving the two couples with Maryse slapping Renee, to Dean Ambrose taking out The Miz during a backstage segment. While we never got to see the in-ring debut of Renee Young and a mixed tag-team match between the four, Dean Ambrose won the feud by defeating Miz for his Intercontinental Championship.
#3 Mia Yim & Keith Lee vs Candice LeRae & Johnny Gargano
The latest entry into the list is the feud between NXT's real-life couples Mia Yim & Keith Lee vs Candice LeRae & Johnny Gargano. Once very popular babyfaces, Mr. and Mrs. Gargano have quickly turned into WWE's biggest heel couples, even declaring themselves to be the greatest power couple in the world... or even the Universe. Do you think they are the biggest WWE power couple right now, dear reader?
It was initially Gargano who had his eyes on Keith Lee's North American Championship, but then their respective partners joined in and things almost got out of hands. Both couples mocked each other in backstage promos and vignettes. In a mixed tag-match, Gargano and Candice managed to defeat Lee and Yim through some cheap tactics.
At NXT TakeOver: In Your House, Mia Yim helped Lee to retain his title against Gargano after taking out Candice. The two women recently fought it off in a Streetfight on Night 2 of NXT Great American Bash. After an amazing WWE match, Candice defeated Yim after a spectacular swinging neckbreaker from the top-rope on a pile of chairs in the ring.
With Keith Lee defeating Adam Cole for the NXT Championship and being a double champion, it is to be seen whether Gargano challenges him for one of his titles soon or not. There have been speculations of Mr. Wrestling moving to the WWE main roster for some time as well.
#2 Jimmy Uso & Naomi Vs Tyson Kidd & Natalya
Jimmy Uso-Naomi and Tyson Kidd-Natalya are two of the most popular WWE couples recently. Especially for those who watch Total Divas, both the couples have prominently been featured on several episodes of the show.
It was in 2015 when Tyson Kidd had just started his massively popular tag-team with Cesaro and the two became tag team champions. The Usos challenged them with Naomi acting as the valet of her husband and brother-in-law. This led to Natalya stepping up to get involved in a similar capacity for Kidd and Cesaro.
In the tag team championship match on RAW, Natalya and Naomi started brawling outside the ring and the Queen of Harts caused a disqualification, helping Kidd and Cesaro retain their titles. It was later that year when Tyson Kidd suffered a career-ending injury during a dark match on RAW after Samoa Joe hit him with his Muscle Buster finisher.
Both the couple continues to appear on Total Divas. WWE recently teased an angle with Natalya and Tyson Kidd on WWE RAW, with Lana involved in some capacity.
#1 Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella vs The Miz & Maryse
Daniel Bryan's retirement from WWE in 2016 followed by his miraculous return two years later at WrestleMania 34 was a dream story. After his retirement, Bryan became the General Manager of WWE SmackDown where he got into a heated conversation with The Miz on an episode of Talking Smack. The Miz and Daniel Bryan share a long history as The Miz was Bryan's "mentor" during his time in NXT as a rookie.
When Daniel Bryan announced his return to in-ring competition, WWE Universe was eagerly waiting to see him reignite his feud with The Miz, and they got that soon but with a twist. Maryse was appearing alongside The Miz at that time and the two started a feud with Daniel Bryan. Soon, Bryan's wife and WWE Superstar Brie Bella made her return, leading to a mixed tag team match at WWE Hell in a Cell 2018. Interestingly, WWE decided to let the heel team of Miz and Maryse go over in that match.
The Miz and Maryse welcomed their second child together in September 2019. On the other hand, Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan have announced Brie's pregnancy earlier this year and expecting their second child together.
