Believe it or not, the idea is being floated around for a dream match between The Undertaker and AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 and it is something fans should be thrilled about. In fact, between how big of a heel Styles is right now and The Undertaker's legendary presence, this could serve as a passing of the torch moments in the company.

With that being said, here are five reasons why The Undertaker versus AJ Styles is best for business. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and let us know who you think will ultimately come out victorious.

#5 No better opponent for The Undertaker

Who really is le ft for The Undertaker to face at WrestleMania 36?
Who really is le ft for The Undertaker to face at WrestleMania 36?

Who else is there for The Undertaker to face at WrestleMania 36?

No, seriously, between The Fiend being rumored for a feud with Roman Reigns and a match with Sting not looking very likely, The Undertaker is seemingly without an opponent for WrestleMania 36. Furthermore, if the company doesn't end up doing AJ Styles versus Undertaker, it might be better off to leave The Deadman off of the show entirely.

Of course that's not going to be a popular decision and for understandable reasons, but who else really is there that Undertaker would be able to put on a good match with? Maybe WWE could go with Seth Rollins or maybe even Aleister Black, although both of those options come with their own sets of baggage.

For example, Rollins versus Undertaker would come at the expense of the rumored Rollins versus Buddy Murphy match at WrestleMania 36 and robs the young superstar of a solidifying moment. As for Black, one could argue that he isn't exactly ready for a match against The Undertaker and it could end up hurting his character.

In the end, Undertaker versus Styles is the only option that really makes sense and could be beneficial for both parties!

#4 Chance of a retirement angle

Will AJ Styles force The Undertaker into retirement?
Will AJ Styles force The Undertaker into retirement?

WrestleMania season is a great time for retirement type storylines and while the trope has been overused in the past, it seems absolutely perfect for The Undertaker and AJ Styles. Not only is that evident by how great Styles is at verbally berating opponents on the microphone, but also by what it would be mean if The Phenomenal one could actually retire The Undertaker.

Think about it! That's not even an honor that WWE gave to Roman Reigns, who is arguably one of the biggest entities in the company right now. If nothing else, Undertaker versus Styles in a retirement match would be a great addition to the midcard, allow Styles to play up his heel role and once again let The Deadman act as a stepping stone.

Now, whether WWE wants to go through with actually retiring The Undertaker remains to be seen and will be dependent on many factors, but even teasing it would be worth the price of admission. It might even be what puts Styles back on the map after his injury and gives him a lot of momentum heading into the summer.

#3 The disrespect factor

Watching A J Styles and The Club disrespect The Undertaker would be must-watch television.

AJ Styles is one of the biggest heels on Monday Night Raw right now and while the company could do virtually anything with him at WrestleMania 36, why not put him up against The Undertaker? Not only would the storyline act as the perfect heel versus babyface dynamic, it also creates a situation where Styles and his group can disrespect the future legend.

In all honesty, watching AJ Styles and The Club disrespect a WWE veteran like The Undertaker would be nothing short of jaw dropping television and could make for some of the company's best moments.. It could even open the door to Undertaker appearing weekly again, which would be a huge ratings boost for the company.

In the end, The Undertaker is one of those characters that The WWE Universe truly cares about and the company needs to exploit that feeling. If they manage to do this successfully, they can probably create one of the best dream matches in WrestleMania history and string the WWE Universe along for the ride in the process.

#2 Soft spot for Styles to land

It's no secret that WWE is running out of time to find an opponent for AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 and putting him against The Undertaker would probably be a best case scenario. Beyond that, it could serve as a launching point for Styles after WrestleMania 36 if he is somehow able to win.

Keep in mind that Styles had his momentum derailed after an injury at The Royal Rumble and he is now in need of some kind of landing spot. Yeah, maybe there are other matches that seem more appealing on the surface for Styles, but how many of them are realistic based on current storylines?

If nothing else, a lot of the WWE roster is starting to get paired up for WrestleMania 36 and there really aren't too many choices left. There are also next to no matchups that would really be meaningful to watch play out, which is part of what makes Styles versus Undertaker such a good option right now.

#1 Dream match

AJ Styles versus Undertaker. Who wins?

While WWE is busy trying to put together title matches that will hopefully act as a changing of the guard moment, they haven't really set up any dream matches yet.. Of course the complete match card isn't set yet, but if what we have so far is any indicator, the company could probably use a few special attractions sprinkled in.

With that being said and The Undertaker still needing a high profile opponent for WrestleMania 36, why not pair him up with The Phenomenal one for The Show of Shows? At least that way, WWE kind of gets a highly coveted Styles versus Undertaker dream match and it could even help Styles gain his momentum back.

In the end, there are just so many appealing aspects to this match that it's hard to break it down into words. It's just one of those match-ups that would have to be seen to be believed. It also probably one of those moments in WWE history where you remember where you where when it happened, which is all the more reason to do it!
