5 Superstars Brock Lesnar should face next instead of Roman Reigns

Brock Lensar somehow managed to leave the GRR with the Universal title still around his waist. My first thought after that match ended was the fact that I didn't, under any circumstances, want to see another match between Brock and Roman.

However, it looks like Brock vs Roman is exactly what we're getting. But, what could we have gotten instead?

5: Pete Dunne

I can't stress how good this match could be if we EVER get it. If anyone can cut Brock Lesnar down to size with a targeted surgical attack, it's the Bruiserweight. I've stated before that I think that Dunne is a once in a generation talent and I stand by that.

What Pete Dunne lacks in size he makes up with mental fortitude and sheer nastiness.

Although I'm pretty sure Vince wouldn't book Dunne to go over Lesnar at this point, if ever, Pete Dunne just facing Lesnar would give him a massive boost and would be a great way to introduce him to the main-roster - think of how KO debuted by attacking John Cena.

4: Kevin Owens

This match may not be for everyone but for a certain section of fans, this is a dream match. Owens can do it all, talk, work, tell a story in the ring etc. Owens could probably do commentary for paint drying and still make it interesting.

I know how unlikely this match is but would it really be less interesting than ANOTHER Brocl Lesnar vs Roman Reigns match?

3: Bobby Lashley

Brock Lesnar versus the man Vince thought would eventually replace Lesnar, back in the early 2000s.

The former ECW Champions WWE return has led to some alarm bells with fans barely reacting to Lashley. Earlier this week on RAW in Montreal, Lashley got actively booed by the fans when he got tagged in during the 6-man match.

WWE need to do something different with Lashley soon if they don't want Lashley to go the way of Del Rio's last WWE run.

One way to do this could be the match that had been rumoured even before Lashley's signing was confirmed - Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley. Both men have a similar amateur wrestling and MMA background but the main question about this match would be which way the crowd would sway - if they react at all.

Both

2: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has been in red-hot form since late last year with rumours even suggesting that John Cena himself advocated for Rollins to win the Gauntlet match on RAW to face Lesnar at Mania. That didn't happen and Roman faced Lesnar at Mania and lost. Then Roman lost again at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Rollins, on the other hand, won the IC title at Mania and has defended his title on 3 continents since then. Rollins also came out on RAW last Monday saying that he doesn't want to be a champion like Brock who never shows up.

The story between these two writes itself if WWE decide to go in that direction.

1: Braun Strowman

If you ask WWE fans who they'd like to see Brock face next or drop the title to, the majority will now answer in unison - Braun Strowman.

Strowman has torn his way through the RAW roster and is one of the most popular Superstars in the entire roster right now.

WWE must know how over Braun is right now. He's red hot. After his heroics at the Greatest Royal Rumble, Braun deserves as title shot and what better way to push Braun Strowman into the Stratosphere than to have him beat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
