Drew McIntyre is currently the man in the spotlight, having won the men's Royal Rumble match this year. After winning his first Royal Rumble match, The Scottish Psychopath made an emphatic statement. Besides winning the match, McIntyre also eliminated Brock Lesnar, which has already planted a seed for the rivalry.

On the RAW after Royal Rumble, McIntyre announced the world champion he wants to challenge at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Following the intense stare down at Royal Rumble, it was hinted that McIntyre could go for the WWE Championship. McIntyre chose Brock Lesnar and the two men will go in a war at WrestleMania 36.

WrestleMania is still two months away, and two pay-per-views will take place in this time frame, with Super ShowDown being the next big show. After winning a triple threat match on RAW, Ricochet will take on Lesnar in Saudi Arabia. However, the question remains what could Lesnar's WrestleMania opponent do at Super ShowDown.

In this article, we take a look at five things Drew McIntyre could do at Super ShowDown.

#5 McIntyre wins the Battle Royal match

Battle Royal matches are common in Saudi Arabia shows. For instance, Super ShowDown in 2019 had a massive 51-Man Battle Royal match, which was won by local boy Mansoor. Similarly, Crown Jewel also had a 20-Man Battle Royal match to decide the number one contender for the US Championship.

Although a Battle Royal match is yet to be announced by the company, it is feasible, considering the past events in Saudi Arabia. However, the winner of the Battle Royal match doesn't get any title shot as a reward. If a Battle Royal match takes place at Super ShowDown, Drew McIntyre could become part of it. Having won the Royal Rumble match this year, McIntyre will be the ultimate favorite to do it again at Super ShowDown.

#4 McIntyre finds a partner and challenges the RAW Tag Team Champion

To have a match at Super ShowDown, Drew McIntyre might compete in a tag team match, perhaps even challenge the RAW Tag Team Championship. Every show in Saudi Arabia generally has a long match card and hence, there could be a couple of tag team matches. McIntyre's last association was with Shane McMahon a few months ago.

Shane is not part of the WWE roster anymore, and McIntyre has been a solo performer for while, since returning from his last injury. Furthermore, McIntyre is currently a babyface, and he is likely to team up with another good guy if he manages to find a partner.

There are a number of babyfaces on the RAW roster, who would love to become a partner of the Royal Rumble winner. Given that Aleister Black is a babyface and has a history with RAW Tag Team Champion Buddy Murphy, the Dutch Destroyer could be an excellent choice to become a tag team partner. The Scottish Psychopath had already won the RAW Tag Team Championship in the past, and the fans would love to see him with the twin belts again.

#3 McIntyre could get a singles match

Well, Drew McIntyre has been competing in singles matches every week, and it should not be surprising if he gets another one at Super ShowDown. Ever since McIntyre came back from injury, The Scottish Psychopath has been on a roll, dismantling opponents in singles matches every week. As a matter of fact, McIntyre squashed Mojo Rawley, the current 24/7 Champion, on RAW this week.

A singles match for McIntyre at Super ShowDown will not only be a great addition to the pay-per-view but also help him to build momentum. Having won back to back singles matches and the men's Royal Rumble this year, McIntyre already has the momentum. As the Scottish Psychopath is a good guy, he could face a heel, perhaps from the mid-card of the RAW roster.

Most top heels on the RAW have feuds at the moment. Nevertheless, someone like Bobby Lashley could be a perfect opponent for McIntyre at Super ShowDown, considering the former is done with the storyline involving Rusev and Lana.

#2 McIntyre interferes in the WWE Championship match

The WWE Championship match is set for the Super ShowDown. Brock Lesnar, the WWE Champion, will put the title on the line against Ricochet. Less than two months before the Showcase of Immortals, it will be a huge opportunity for Ricochet to make a statement, giving a close competition to the Beast Incarnate.

Brock Lesnar is known to deliver impressive matches against smaller men, and it shouldn't be any different against Ricochet. Whether Finn Balor, AJ Styles or Rey Mysterio, all men had matches with the Beast, and all those encounters were praiseworthy. Knowing the swiftness and high-flying ability of Ricochet, he is expected to do the same at Super ShowDown.

Given the stage is set between Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar, we could see a major twist in Saudi Arabia. Perhaps a distraction from McIntyre could open a gate for Ricochet during the match, and the latter might come close to pinning the WWE Champion. Moreover, the match could end in a disqualification after interference from McIntyre, which will protect Ricochet as well.

#1 McIntyre attacks Brock Lesnar after the WWE Championship match

Assuming the WWE Championship match will be a fair match at Super ShowDown, it should be an incredible one. If Brock Lesnar shows his proficiency in the ring against Ricochet, the match has the potential of stealing the show in Saudi Arabia. However, the fans shouldn't find hard to pick the winner of the match.

WWE's Resident Superhero might give his everything at Super ShowDown, but Lesnar will not lose the title. Drew McIntyre could assault Lesnar after the match when Lesnar will be already worn out facing Ricochet. An abrupt attack at Super ShowDown will ignite the WWE Championship match and garner more attention from the WWE Universe.

McIntyre was sabotaged by Brock Lesnar on the RAW after Royal Rumble when the former chose the 'Beast Incarnate' as his WrestleMania opponent. Hence, McIntyre could avenge the previous attack by Brock Lesnar. Not many men have the courage of dominating Brock Lesnar and McIntyre could prove his mettle as the number one contender for Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 if he wounds the Beast Incarnate at Super ShowDown.
