A championship must change hands this week

Brock Lesnar made his way out on RAW last week with the WWE Championship. He had an exchange of words with Paul Heyman before confirming his appearance on SmackDown later in the week.

Bianca Belair also made a statement by hitting the K.O.D. on Doudrop and pinning her on RAW. She will challenge Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38.

Dolph Ziggler cheated his way to a victory over Tommaso Ciampa on NXT. Bron Breakker arrived after the match to save Ciampa and book a huge tag team match for this week.

Meanwhile, the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic kicked off on the show. Who will become the next winner of the tournament?

Ronda Rousey came out for an interview on SmackDown. She was ambushed by Sonya Deville and Charlotte Flair but managed to fight the two heels off. Rousey will now face Deville in her first match on SmackDown this week.

Take a look at the five things that must happen on WWE RAW, NXT, and SmackDown this week.

#5 In things that must happen on WWE RAW, NXT, and SmackDown this week: Finn Balor must win the United States Championship

Damian Priest has been on a roll on WWE RAW. He issued an open challenge for his United States Championship last week that was answered by Shelton Benjamin. Despite Cedric Alexander trying to help his partner, Benjamin was unable to defeat The Archer of Infamy.

After the match, Finn Balor returned to challenge Priest for the United States Championship. The two men are set to battle for the title on this week’s show.

Balor is one of WWE’s best in-ring performers who hasn’t been very successful since his main roster return. The creative team must look to put a title on The Prince to get him going once again.

He must put on a good fight against The Archer of Infamy and defeat him to win the championship. Priest has held the title for some time and has had a good run with it. WWE could look to move him out of the mid-card title scene and push him to the top following WrestleMania.

It could be the perfect time to take the title off Priest with WrestleMania on the horizon. Judging by Edge’s promo on the show last week, The Archer of Infamy could very well become The Ultimate Opportunist’s opponent at The Show of Shows.

#4 AJ Styles must confront Edge on WWE RAW

Edge appeared on WWE RAW after a hiatus and cut a passionate promo. The Rated R Superstar was once again ready to feature in a big match at WrestleMania.

This time around, Edge wasn’t too sure who his opponent for The Show of Shows would be. He made references to many top superstars, including Finn Balor, AJ Styles, and Damian Priest.

It looks like the veteran has his eyes on the cream of the RAW brand. Out of the three men mentioned above, only AJ Styles isn’t involved in a rivalry. WWE will likely look to have The Phenomenal One feature in a big match at WrestleMania 38.

With that in mind, Styles must appear on this week’s show interrupt another promo by Edge. The Phenomenal One must then challenge Edge to a match at WrestleMania to determine who is the best in the business.

A match between Styles and Edge will light up the WrestleMania card this year. A contest between the two superstars will be a huge dream match for many.

#3 Solo Sikoa must find some backup on WWE NXT

The Creed Brothers won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic on WWE NXT a couple of weeks ago. Imperium showed up soon after to shake off Julius and Brutus Creed’s threat and make a bold statement.

Solo Sikoa interrupted the faction and took a shot at its leader, Gunther. Last week on NXT, Sikoa once again targeted Gunther and took him down to “save” Malcolm Bivens.

Sikoa and Gunther will compete in one of the biggest matches on this week’s show. WWE must ensure that Sikoa comes close to a win before Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel run in to save their leader and cause a disqualification.

The Creed Brothers must then arrive to even the odds and save Sikoa from a beatdown. This will lead to a big six-man tag team match between the two sides in the weeks to come.

Meanwhile, NXT could then book a rematch between Solo Sikoa and Gunther at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. It would be best to save the result of a match between the two top superstars for the upcoming TakeOver event.

#2. Carmelo Hayes must retain his North American Championship on WWE NXT

Carmelo Hayes did well to retain his North American Championship against Cameron Grimes a couple of weeks ago on WWE NXT. Following his title defense, Hayes was met by Pete Dunne.

Last week, Dunne made his intentions very clear. The two men will now meet for the NXT North American Championship on this week’s show.

The Bruiserweight is arguably NXT’s star performer. However, he hasn’t won many big matches in recent months. All that could change on Tuesday night if he wins the title and begins a new reign on the brand.

However, WWE must keep the title on Melo for some time. He has been a great performer and has already raised the value of the North American title as The A Champion.

NXT could keep the title on Hayes for some time before the NXT Championship picture clears up. He can then drop the title and move into the main event picture opposite Bron Breakker. A rivalry between the two rising stars will be phenomenal.

#1. Ronda Rousey must injure Sonya Deville to make a statement on WWE SmackDown

Ronda Rousey returned at WWE Royal Rumble and won the women’s over-the-top-rope elimination match. She decided to challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship soon after.

Sonya Deville also entered the rivalry and tasted Rousey’s armbar in the process. She faked an injury heading into Elimination Chamber to put Rousey in a disadvantageous position.

Deville worked with Flair to try and injure Rousey last week. The Baddest Woman on the Planet and Deville will compete in a one-on-one match on SmackDown this week.

Rousey will be looking to make a statement in the match and get back at Sonya Deville in the process. She must take down Deville with ease while fighting off any distractions from The Queen. She must then lock her opponent in an armbar and injure her in storyline.

The angle will make Ronda come across as an even bigger threat and take Deville out of the equation. It will be a good way to take the rivalry between the two top stars forward.
