Will Paul Heyman try to win back Roman Reigns' trust on WWE SmackDown?

Austin Theory attacked Finn Balor once again on WWE RAW last week. The attack cost Balor a tag team match. The two men will meet in the ring on this week’s show. Will their rivalry spill over to the upcoming Day 1 pay-per-view?

Maryse is also set to show up on Edge’s talkshow on RAW. It will be interesting to see what The Miz’s wife will have to say ahead of her husband’s match against Edge.

Tommaso Ciampa is ready to grant Bron Breakker another shot at his NXT Championship. Breakker suffered an attack at the hands of The Blackheart last week and must look to exact revenge before their match is made official.

Grayson Waller’s actions have already made him the most hated man in WWE. The new star could look to continue his attacks to bring more heat towards him.

Toni Storm pinned Charlotte Flair on WWE SmackDown on Friday night. The New Zealander could earn a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship this week.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns took down Paul Heyman after the latter made a surprising revelation. It will be interesting to see where the advocate ends up before WWE Day 1.

Take a look at the five things that must happen on WWE RAW, NXT, and SmackDown this week.

#5. Big E must destroy his three opponents ahead of WWE Day 1

Big E has been doing a great job on WWE RAW since winning the top title. He was first challenged by Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship after winning a #1 contender’s match.

Kevin Owens later entered the title picture and became part of the WWE Championship match for Day 1. Bobby Lashley then tore through the scene and destroyed all three men before making his way into the title match for Day 1.

Big E took a pin from Lashley last week after an attack by MVP. The WWE Champion seems to be on the backfoot now as he will be facing three heels to defend his title.

WWE must look to give Big E some momentum ahead of Day 1, and give him a big segment on RAW this week. The All-Mighty will come out to make a statement on RAW. Kevin Owens and Rollins must then show up to attack the former WWE Champion.

Big E must come in last and take down all three men to make a statement and stand tall to end the segment. The creative team could give Big E a top moment a couple of weeks before Day 1 and tilt the momentum on the final episode of RAW before the pay-per-view.

#4. Alpha Academy must challenge RK-Bro for WWE Day 1

The Mysterios and The Street Profits were ready to compete on WWE RAW last week to determine who would challenge RK-Bro next. However, a rumored injury to Montez Ford of The Street Profits seems to have thrown plans out of the window.

Last week, Otis of The Alpha Academy took on Riddle in a singles match. Otis dominated the RAW Tag Team Champion and overpowered him with ease.

In the end, The Dozer pinned Riddle to pick up a big win. It looks like The Alpha Academy is finally getting a push on RAW. With that in mind, WWE could use Chad Gable and Otis to challenge RK-Bro at Day 1.

Alpha Academy could do a good job at replacing The Mysterios and The Street Profits for the time being and start a fresh rivalry with the RAW Tag Team Champions.

#3. Grayson Waller and LA Knight must enter a rivalry on WWE NXT

A couple of weeks ago, Grayson Waller became the most hated man in WWE. He attacked Johnny Gargano during his farewell speech and put him through the announce table.

Last week, Waller was disowned by nearly everyone backstage. Even Bron Breakker wanted nothing to do with the young star. He attacked LA Knight during the show and stole his car.

This week, LA Knight must hunt down Waller and make him pay for his actions. WWE needs to push Knight who can become a huge star for the company. A rivalry between the two men can help both get ahead in NXT.

#2. Sami Zayn must win the Gauntlet Match on WWE SmackDown

Sami Zayn wanted to get a shot at the Intercontinental Championship on WWE SmackDown. Instead, Adam Pearce decided to book a Gauntlet Match to determine the new challenger for Shinsuke Nakamura.

Most fans can’t even remember the last time Nakamura defended his title. He recently got into a rivalry with Humberto and Angel. However, instead of giving one of the two men the win, WWE must allow Zayn to outsmart everyone to win the match.

The victory will give Zayn another boost on SmackDown after his great work against Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. He could once again win the Intercontinental Championship at Day 1.

#1. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman must tease an alliance on WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns questioned Paul Heyman about his loyalty on WWE SmackDown. Heyman told Reigns that he was protecting him from Brock Lesnar. What happened next was truly unexpected.

Reigns attacked Heyman and nearly took him out before Brock Lesnar made the save. This week, WWE must tease an alliance between Lesnar and Heyman but not pair the two men up immediately.

Heyman must be shown trying to win back Reigns’ trust later on before he finally teams up with Lesnar ahead of Day 1.
