5 things which could take SmackDown Live by storm tonight

<p>
What awaits us tonight?

Moving forward from last week's excellent episode of SmackDown Live, the blue brand will be live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena to advance the narrative for SummerSlam.

The blue brand is advertising two matches tonight, with The New Day squaring off against SAnitY being the more anticipated.

Follow Sportskeeda for the latest WWE news, rumors and all other wrestling news.

Although Jeff Hardy was brutally targeted by Randy Orton two weeks ago, there is a strong possibility he enters the scheme of things before The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Since we are only five days away from SummerSlam, the creative team will put their best foot forward to deliver an unforgettable show to the fans. The blue brand is also advertising a final face-off between Carmella, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte before they collide in Brooklyn, NY.

If the intrigue created by Monday Night Raw was anything to take into consideration, then we could be heading towards a far more unpredictable edition of SmackDown Live.

Without further ado, lets dive deep and predict the 5 things that can take SmackDown Live by storm tonight.

#5 Becky Lynch teases an epic heel turn at SummerSlam

It;s
It's time for Becky Lynch to conquer the blue brand

A lot of the hardcore WWE fans who were rooting for Becky Lynch to grab the SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam are disappointed with Charlotte's return.

Charlotte's homecoming might give more depth to the women's division, but her inclusion in the Women's Championship match brings more roadblocks for Becky Lynch.

Considering that the blue brand would ideally look to top the red brand with their pacy narratives, the company could go a different route with this one. With SmackDown lacking credible heels in the women's division, it could be finally time to see Becky embrace the dark side and tease an epic heel turn at SummerSlam.

If Carmella manages to create some tension between the two best friends, then the creative team would be successful in intriguing and hyping the audience for SummerSlam.

#4 SAnitY brings chaos and decimates the Power of Positivity, only to be confronted by The Bludgeon Brothers

Destroyi
SAnitY are being booked terribly at the moment

A match between The Bludgeon Brothers and SAnitY for the SmackDown tag-team Championship at SummerSlam has money written all over it.

Although the fans thought that the two clashing in Brooklyn was inevitable, the company disappointed fans by pushing The New Day to face The Bludgeon Brothers.

The blue brand is advertising a colossal tag-team match for tonight's edition of SmackDown Live. Taking future narrative into account, SAnitY needs to decimate The New Day tonight.

The creative team should book a more ideal outcome, with SAnitY annihilating The New Day and leaving them absolutely helpless, only to be confronted by The Bludgeon Brothers in the end.

A booking such as this could make all the factions look really strong, and also provide SAnitY with some legitimate attention.

#3 The Miz and Daniel Bryan engage in a heated verbal exchange before SummerSlam

The match we all wanted

The Miz and Daniel Bryan share such an amazing chemistry in the squared circle that it feels impossible to not feel intrigued by anything they do in any capacity. Both superstars are headed towards a collision course at SummerSlam, and like all their segments - tonight's altercation could also be a blockbuster.

The creative team is trying everything they can to sell the Miz as a superstar, and Daniel Bryan as a wrestler - and they have been successful.

The A-Lister has continued his verbal assault on The Beard and his passionate supporters, and there's no way he won't mock them once again tonight.

Concluding the narrative for SummerSlam should be similar to the confrontations they had on Talking Smack, and if they are provided with some creative freedom, they can push the envelope to the next level.

#2 The Charismatic Enigma is now rendered obsolete

The
The Enigma you know is dead

Randy Orton's jaw-dropping assaults on Jeff Hardy has propelled SmackDown Live to a different stratosphere of storytelling and character build-up.

While the Apex Predator might not appear tonight due to the allegations that are surrounding him, the creative team might bring a different version of Jeff Hardy to elevate intrigue for SummerSlam.

Shinsuke Nakamura's reign as the United States Champion could be seriously entertaining, and colliding against a newly rejuvenated Brother Nero could bring the house down tonight.

There's no denying that Jeff Hardy is one of the most popular wrestlers of this generation, and the fact that he still continues to improvise his characterization is commendable.

With Randy Orton out of the picture for some time, the creative team needs to pull out all the stops tonight, and bringing in Brother Nero could be absolutely sensational.

#1 Samoa Joe puts AJ Styles to sleep before they go to war in Brooklyn

T
The real main-event of SummerSlam is here

If you've been watching the transition of AJ Styles and Samoa Joe since their independent days, then you'll realize how monumental this bout could be at SummerSlam.

This is the first time The Phenomenal One heads to SummerSlam as the WWE Champion, and with Samoa Joe getting his first major championship match on the blue brand, we could be getting a war tonight between the two.

Judging by how the creative team has booked the feud so far, the collision could get more personal tonight.

Samoa Joe and AJ Styles are two of the best in-ring workers on the planet, therefore the management needs to book something terrific tonight to end the night on a high.

The Destroyer coercing the WWE Champion to sleep, and rendering him absolutely helpless and defenseless before SummerSlam could be an ideal way to make both performers look strong.
