Welcome to this week's episode of things WWE subtly told us on the RAW before Elimination Chamber 2022. There was a good main event between Seth Rollins and Randy Orton in a WrestleMania 31 rematch. Rollins won following interference from The Alpha Academy.

It was a good episode of the red brand before Elimination Chamber and seemingly tied up the loose ends before the show in Saudi Arabia. This Saturday, the WWE stars will be across the world with several matches having direct WrestleMania implications.

This is what WWE subtly told us on this week's episode:

#5. Does Brock Lesnar's appearance on RAW indicate a possibly positive outcome for Elimination Chamber?

Brock Lesnar has been well-received by fans ever since his babyface turn and his more laidback, authentic persona. There's a lot to love about it, but the recent booking of Lesnar has made some fans skeptical.

While the WrestleMania clash against Roman Reigns was always inevitable, the idea of him losing the WWE title, winning the Royal Rumble, only to enter the Elimination Chamber immediately after makes little sense.

It seems to be the company teasing a champion vs. champion match - something they've done numerous times before. It's clear - if Brock Lesnar wins at Elimination Chamber, then the WrestleMania main event will be a champion vs. champion, title vs. title bout.

No matter how much one loves Lesnar, the idea of both world titles being in one match doesn't sit well with fans, and for good reason. It takes away a big spot from RAW stars who have been working hard all year long, and it also reinforces the idea that there are only truly two top superstars in WWE.

This week, there was a stand-off between the Elimination Chamber competitors, with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley cutting a less-than-convincing promo vowing to put The Beast Incarnate down and out inside the Elimination Chamber.

The segment ended with Lesnar standing tall and taking a selfie of a hurt Austin Theory. It was hilarious, and it also indicated the possibility that Brock Lesnar won't be walking out of the Elimination Chamber with the win. One can only hope that Lashley retains or another star from the red brand walks out with the WWE title.

As of now, it's hard to imagine who could win apart from Brock Lesnar or Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber. Seth Rollins is an obvious strong candidate, but nothing recently has indicated that he will walk into WrestleMania as the WWE Champion.

#4. The gauntlet honors on RAW and the road to the women's championship

While Lita and Becky Lynch will battle it out to determine who will walk into WrestleMania as the RAW Women's Champion, one woman will look to secure the other big spot.

Since Women's Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey has already chosen SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair as her WrestleMania opponent, it left an opening on the red brand.

A five-woman gauntlet match saw Rhea Ripley run through Nikki A.S.H., Doudrop, and Liv Morgan before falling short to Bianca Belair. Ripley was the gauntlet match star this year as she lasted nearly 45 minutes before falling short to Belair - the woman who seems like she is inevitably going to win the Elimination Chamber match.

What was interesting was the conclusion of Alexa Bliss' therapy sessions. Bliss was told that she was cured, and that the new Lilly Doll had the stuffings of the old one inside - and that she needed to keep the doll with her at all times.

Bliss revealed that she was the final competitor in the women's Elimination Chamber match, and she will likely play a big role. Unfortunately for her, the big plans are most likely going to be for Bianca Belair.

This means that despite returning to the ring after months, Alexa Bliss will most likely fall short of the title inside the Chamber.

#3. Redemption for Damian Priest on RAW

Damian Priest had a sudden downfall on RAW following his change in character in late October 2021. It was the first episode after the Draft had officially taken effect and suddenly, the United States Champion had a darker version of himself.

It was presented as a side of him that would lose control and make less-than-smart decisions, often costing himself a match via count-out or disqualification. He suffered his first clean pinfall loss last week to AJ Styles, and it set up an instant title match this week.

However, The Phenomenal One's efforts weren't enough, and Styles is now another big name in Priest's impressive list of victories since 2021. This seemed to be a bit of redemption for The Archer Of Infamy, who had seemingly lost most of his momentum that he built up in 2021.

The road to WrestleMania is officially back on track, and if anything, WWE essentially told us that if AJ Styles isn't dethroning Damian Priest before April, nobody else will.

His reign will likely last until WrestleMania 38 at the very least, with his opponent at The Grandest Stage of Them All having the highest chance to dethrone him. Either that, or it could be a multi-man match if the company wants to protect him.

#2. A debut on RAW, or an extension of NXT?

The race for RAW Tag Team title contention is fully underway. While RK-Bro are the ones who will get the next title shot against The Alpha Academy, it looks like they may not get their titles back. If they do, it could mean that the expected Riddle vs. Randy Orton match at WrestleMania is off the card.

Either way, The Street Profits, and The Dirty Dawgs had a battle on the red brand in the race for the RAW tag team titles. What was most interesting about the match was the unexpected appearance of Tommaso Ciampa, who only had one purpose - to distract Dolph Ziggler.

That's exactly what he did as he riled up the two-time world champion while being at ringside. While Ziggler attacked Ciampa, he entered the ring, only to get pinned by The Street Profits, who picked up the win in the process.

While some viewed it as a call-up to the main roster, some don't realize that it's simply a RAW-NXT 2.0 crossover, similar to the recent Grayson Waller-AJ Styles feud.

Ciampa is the sidekick of the current NXT Champion Bron Breakker, and he was simply doing his bidding after Ziggler interrupted the contract signing between Breakker and Santos Escobar.

#1. Lita gets into Becky Lynch's head, but will she become RAW Women's Champion?

One of the marquee matches for the Elimination Chamber show will be the RAW Women's title match between Lita and Becky Lynch. Apart from the blockbuster tag team match involving Ronda Rousey on the SmackDown side, the Saudi Arabia event will feature two more big matches with title implications and stipulations.

The Lita vs. Lynch match is perhaps the biggest women's championship match we've seen in a while and the biggest RAW women's match since Big Time Becks vs. Charlotte Flair at Survivor Series.

The promo battle between the legend and the reigning women's champion was an interesting one. While Becky Lynch ended up throwing the contract on her opponent, it was clear that she felt nervous.

It was a great bit of character work from the RAW Women's Champion, who adds more depth to her heel persona by acting like Lita is in her head. It seems to be a nod to Roman Reigns' heel persona, which was reportedly an influence in Lynch's decision to turn heel upon her return at SummerSlam 2021.

Unfortunately for Lita, her role isn't to become the champion but to help elevate Becky Lynch, and it's likely to stay that way.
