Everyone loves a good rumor, right? Something to talk about with other people over a water cooler. In WWE, everything moves so fast. Not just the Superstars in the ring, but also all the latest news and rumors that reach the public every single day.

With Stomping Grounds now behind us, the company turns to the upcoming Extreme Rules pay per view, on route to the biggest party of the Summer, Summerslam.

Here are five WWE rumors from this week you really need to know.

Note: Please remember that these rumors are just that, rumors. Please take each one with a grain of salt. Though some may seem more likely than others, they are just something to have a bit of fun with.

#5 Huge changes for multiple reasons

The impact of Bischoff and Heyman has already been felt on RAW and SmackDown Live.
The impact of Bischoff and Heyman has already been felt on RAW and SmackDown Live.

If anything has been proved over the past seven days in WWE, is that anything can happen.

Last week, the company appointed Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff as the Executive Directors of Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live, respectively, as the two former promoters now have booking powers on the main roster.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there's plenty of reasons why WWE made such a bold decision, as the company reportedly did so because of the increasing threat of All Elite Wrestling.

With more and more reports that Superstars are looking to join the new promotion, WWE seems to hope this change will help folks stay.

Another reason is that WWE felt a change needed to be made after months of dwindling ratings, and if so, the change definitely helped, with RAW facing a huge increase in viewers this week.

#4 The Hot Rod back soon

Rousey hasn't been seen in WWE since main eventing WrestleMania 35.
Rousey hasn't been seen in WWE since main eventing WrestleMania 35.

In my opinion, 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey was the biggest signing in WWE history.

After all, who else joined the company with a bigger reputation than the UFC Hall of Famer, who had made a name for herself in both Mixed Martial Arts and at an Olympic level as well.

Capturing the RAW Women's title at Summerslam 2018, Rousey hasn't been seen in WWE since she lost the title at WrestleMania 35, competing in the show's first ever Women's Main Event.

According to reports by Sportskeeda though, that may soon change, as Rousey is reportedly expected to return sooner rather than later.

Not only that, but the Hot Rod is also expected to be working closely with Paul Heyman, the new Executive Director of RAW and one of the former RAW Women's Champions biggest advocates.

#3 The Kanellis' keep a secret

Did the couple intentionally keep their pregnancy a secret until after signing a lucrative deal?
Did the couple intentionally keep their pregnancy a secret until after signing a lucrative deal?

When Mike and Maria Kanellis appeared on WWE RAW this week, many fans were confused.

The duo have been fixtures of 205 Live for a while now, so to see the Kanellis' face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch on RAW, with Maria announcing being pregnant with the couple's second child had many scratching their heads.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the couple revealed the good news to WWE, after Mike and Maria signed a lucrative five-year contract for $2.5 million.

Whether the company knowingly withheld this information until after the ink was dry is unclear, though one can't help but wonder whether WWE would've offered such a huge amount of money to the Kanellis' if they'd known from the start that Maria and Mike would soon be having to take quite a bit of time off.

#2 The Deadman has his pick for Summerslam

The Deadman reportedly requested to face Drew McIntyre at Summerslam.
The Deadman reportedly requested to face Drew McIntyre at Summerslam.

For nearly 30 years now, the Demon of Death Valley has faced some of wrestling biggest stars, from Hulk Hogan to Steve Austin to John Cena, and according to reports, now has a new target for the Summerslam.

Local ads in Toronto where the show will be held at the Scotiabank Arena are claiming that The Undertaker will face Drew McIntyre at Summerslam, in what is sure to be a huge match.

The pair are already set to face off in tag team action this Sunday at Extreme Rules, as the Phenom will team with Roman Reigns to face McIntyre and Shane McMahon.

Dave Meltzer recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Undertaker personally requested to work with the Scottish Psychopath earlier this year, as the Deadman continues to have more matches in 2019, despite not appearing at WrestleMania.

Since returning to the main roster in 2018, McIntyre has been one of RAW's most influential stars, and a win over the Deadman at Summerslam would definitely help elevate the Scottish Superstar into the hunt for the Universal title.

#1 Roman Reigns absence revealed

The Big Dog missed TV last week.
The Big Dog missed TV last week.

As a three-time WWE World Champion and Universal Champion, Roman Reigns is one of the company's biggest stars.

One of the top guys of this new era, Reigns is consistently a draw at Live events, which explains why so many fans were confused by his absence at both RAW and SmackDown Live last week.

According to Fightful, the Big Dog didn't appear on TV because he went home immediately after the Japan tour, though what's more interesting is who else went with him.

The same report also says that Jimmy Uso and Naomi were also deemed away, and given that the Usos are Roman's cousins, and Naomi is married to Jimmy, this does imply it was some sort of family emergency.

Despite this, Reigns is still expected to team with The Undertaker at Extreme Rules, against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.
